Hi,

I am interested to change my car seats cover from fabric to leather or PU ( 7 seaters)

Which would be better for maintenance ? PU ? Semi Leather ? Full Leather ?

Any estimated price how much cost for changing including installation fees ?

Any recommendation of good job shops in Klang valley would be extremely helpful too ! biggrin.gif

1. PU
2. Semi Leather
3. Full Leather

Thank you.

not really, the most important is a well designed seat regardless of material. i will say leather is just as comfortable than fabric, if not more so

I noticed fabric will be very dusty and difficult to clean, I read fabric is hardest to clean compared to pu/leather,

leather costs thousands? @_@

How about semi leather??

Is it good and worth?

What is your purpose? Looks or because you have kids?

If you have no budget for full leather, then don't bother. Stick to your existing fabric. No PU, ever.

Sometimes bring pets in the car, and their fur all over fabric is a nightmare to clean ...

whats difference semi leather and full leather ? in terms of quality and pricing ?

PU is so bad ? icon_question.gif

There's a saying, "Cheap No Good, Good No Cheap". You basically get what you pay for in some or many purchases. If you have pets, all the more reason for getting full leather which would be more durable. PU cracks and tears even easier. If you want something that last, then the obvious choice is full leather.

What's the point of saving some money, when eventually you will have to fork out more money again to replace those that have cracked or torn?

Anyway, now that we know it's due to pets, this is a cheaper alternative
http://www.petsmart.com/dog/seat-protector...?var_id=36-7575

Many brands, colors and types .. google for it and you'll find one that you like. I had intended to get this when I saw it in Australia pet store. Plans changed when I decided not to move to my landed property. So, no dogs for me.

Trust me, this is not helping. I had this before and yet the fur is flying all over the car.

I just got a new car and to avoid the fur stick on the car seat, I put up a PU seat cover. You can facebook search LEC Seat. Not bad.
