I just bought a new laptop from dell official website. It is window 10 and without microsoft office.

Previously, I was using accer with window 7 if not mistaken. I bought from a bro's friend. It come with microsoft office (word, excel,powerpoint and so on)

This is my first time using window 10 and I am wonder how to get microsoft office for free and it is good to use like I use in window 7 previously without the need to activate or subscribe ( pay for it).

I am not familiar with this kinds of things. is it compulsory for window 10 to oay for the microsoft office? and I realize what I pay for is like it can be install ( use) 5 time at different laptop. But, I just need for my only one laptop.

Please advise me on this matter .Guys. Thanks

Very unfortunately, Microsoft office 2010 starter pack only valid for Windows 7.

No matter what choice, you need to purchase the cheapest pack is Student pack Microsoft Office 2016.



Other choice of software such as

- OpenOffice
- Libreoffice

thanks for your info. I have another q about the keyboard.

I am ordering for US keyboard and the appearance of the keyboard(hardware) is absolutely correct.The sign of @ is with 2.
But when I press shift + 2, it come out " ( it suppose to be @) and when I press shift+' , it come out @( it suppose to be ").
The hardware is right but the software is incorrect.

Is there anything that I could correct it myself or I have to send back to repair?

I would suggest you go those mall like Digital Mall / Lowyat Plaza to buy the original or buy from Microsoft website rather buy from those website.

Are this genuine product? ( they claim the product are genuine) Why are they selling so cheap?

Not sure but such website dont really have 100% trust.. for safety, buy digital download from microsoft store or such computer mall like DIGITAL MALL / LOWYAT PLAZA where you can see their real box.

If you want original, buy from LowYat or other computer stores.
Cracked version can be update online and use it as the original but not for the cloud one. It is installed permanently in your PC/notebook.
I got Microsoft Office 2016 PRO ( cracked ) installed in my PC for only RM25.00 ( from Imbi Plaza).

Fyi, plenty seller in "software - garage sale" selling cheap oem keys at RM40-RM50 only for Microsoft Office 2016. You just need to surf around.

Once cracked, it is yours.

I think you was misunderstood about your bro's Windows 7 why got Microsoft Office. No, Microsoft Office is not free. You can either download from the internet to install yourself or ask for tech guys to install pirate version for you. You can choose to either crack it or buy it.

Don't buy it from microsoft website or retail stores because it is priced RM1,000+. Buy the key from lelong.com.my and download the ISO from internet. There have many sellers are selling around RM100 at lelong. Go ask them how to download and install.

Microsoft Office is getting cheaper for Home & Student about RM280 and its lifetime somemore. If u like microsoft product support them if u don't better use other free office such as openoffice. Its the same the only different is its just and outdated office.
