Sporty Car: Hyundai Veloster
hyundai-veloster

In the world of sports cars, the Hyundai Veloster takes the crown with only half its owners saying they would purchase it again. Owners complained about the Veloster’s lack off power while it felt cheaply made and had too hard of a ride. They also noted that the hatch suffered from ease of access, response from a standstill and a tight cabin.

If you want a hot hatch that can be used as a daily driver, consider the Peugeot 208 GTi. New RM119k (after discount), 2nd hand from RM90k.
Compared to Fiesta ST, it has more power but with a good balance of comfort that makes it easy to drive daily.

Definitely a better choice than the Veloster

New civic turbo is a family sedan with 'slightly sporty' engine and CVT.
Really depends what TS is looking for in a car, but if it is a fun car, don't bother with Civic 1.5T, Jetta, those. Go for a hot hatch or a proper sports car smile.gif

Majority are in KV and Northen (PG, SP). We have 1 or 2 from east coast as well as Johor smile.gif.
It is hard to spot GTis somemtimes because from far they look like the standard 208 3 door. Only if you can spot the differences you can tell from far.

This statement is quite stupid. Its like saying, I don't care how big a house is, but we still stay in Malaysia laugh.gif.
But if one gets a sportscar just to commute from A to B and gets nothing out of the drive at all, then yes you can say that. It is all about matching requirements.

Which brings us back to the most important question, what does TS wants for his 200k?
A status symbol? Get a beemer or merc 2nd hand.
A comfortable car? Get a large sedan.
A really fast car? Get second hand japanese sports car, etc
A handling car? Get a hot hatch, etc

Really depends on what TS wants smile.gif

The V40 is not made in China, you dumbass. The tech is still 100% Swede.

So with your logic people shouldn't be buying Jag's as well since it's indian owned? LEL.

wat he sarcastically meant was volvo is owned by a china carmaker, hence making it 'chinese'

Shittiest car u can buy . Probably the worst handling and no power car. The turbo is useless. In fact, just avoid any Korean car. Super lousy .

Better off getting a subaru wrx . now got promo. 190k plus iinm.

What does /k think about this car?
I'm considering a car price below 200k (no top up)

Below 200k, buy 2 x VW Vento 1.2L TSI, double redundancy. One car engine crack/DSG fail, got another back up. If both fail, then really bad luck.

Lel, cuba masuk proton cfe cvt technical discussion group kat fb, everyday sure ada org post issue turbo jahanam punya, so definitely not user issue haha, theres something wrong with the design that if the user follows the recommended 10k km schedule service, engine wont last long. Dunno why other turbo cars dont suffer like this CFE does

For rm200k can get bmw 1 series. A proper rwd hatch.

V40 is nice on comfort and straight line performance but if you love B roads, volvo won't be your cup of tea unless it's those R model with awd.

I am blessed to be a passenger of a s60R many years ago going up ulu yam and we came upon a group of porsche and lotus drivers. Lets says the porker and lotus have to eat humble pie that day. wink.gif

The one reviewed was the standard veloster. TS asking about Veloster Turbo. Pretty decent with style. It aint no Golf GTI competitor. Probably you will be getting Mazda handling (maybe even slightly better) with some good acceleration.

No need to be so harsh. Still better than a fair number of cars. Would not call it rubbish. But not exactly the best. More for people who wants some power, with some style at an affordable price.

yup i found it nothing wrong with the car just bcoz u don't like/afford it not necessary a rubbish one.
For some people, that kind of performance would be enough and obviously most of us wanted more and yet most of us also can't even actually own it in the end forever stuck with proton or maybe with a powderful Vios TRD
