Planning to pre-order since I am done with Odyssey already . Anyone know the release time for it? Is it Friday or Saturday morning?

Booted up and played for about 3 hours this morning and so far as my first RDR game, it is freaking awesome .

Spent the last hours just hunting and studying animals in the game . This game is my new hunting simulator already. Also for those concern about the survival mechanics in the game, don't fret. Is not intrusive, and I hardly need to eat, sleep, drink or clean my gun, though I do enjoy all those animations that come with it.

Walking and drinking coffee while listening to Dutch's speech in the camp, my goodness, it felt so good.

That only applies to carcass . I been hunting around the region storing bunch of pelts

Was testing the legendary buck trinket yesterday and hunted a 2 star deer plus some other animals and it doesn't seem to work. So is either,

1. a bug
2. happen only by chance
3. only applies to bucks?

Edit: After re-reading the statement ”Player receives higher quality skinned animal parts”, i think it only applies to the other body parts like prime meat or something, oh well

In chapter 4, so far the story plays out like a walking dead miniseries, moving from camp to camp, surviving, never know who will be next on the grim reaper's list . Had a couple of jaw dropping scenes for me.

Whew! Done with story, first R* game I completed till the end. Great story albeit predictable, I enjoyed Arthur's character development through out the game. In my opinion, the epilogue ending would have been better if I have not known what's gonna happen to that person in the future

Overall, great game, thanks to RDR 2, I am a fan of western settings now
