2. I don't think it's realistic enough, the best thing about this game is realism but it's also the downfall of it.

3. That's your problem, having butter fingers is not a negative point of the game objectively speaking.

No, those reasons you listed are stupid - they are all wrong. The only people I cannot recommend this game to are people with little patience or just simply do not like old western settings.

Also hunting for cougars is damn stressful & fun
you saw a red dot right in front of you on your map,
but you can't see it, even with eagle eye activated,
then you thought maybe it's just a rattle snake,
you turn around, then you got pounce from behind by a cougar
either you're dead or you end up with a poor pelt after you blast it with your shotgun in panic laugh.gif

Tip: always have your knife out when hunting predators. So that if they surprise pounce on you, Arthur can counter it by stabbing it in the throat.

Tip 2: be ready to dive dodge a leaping attack.

Welp.... played the online, hard to judge from day 1 how this will turn out. So far things are 'calm' because people co-operate to do things. The grind is there, but it seems to be not as bad as GTAO. I already have a couple of gold bars, which I guess... just from 2 hours of play doesn't sound that bad? I don't know.

Looking forward to more players today and Friday though.

Also, only a matter of time before I see MP turn into a cesspit of cancer. There are already some exploits running around, so yeah... I can only imagine how bad the place will be say a month from now.

Remember that this is a beta and that R* can just pull the plug and reset everyone's progress. So don't go grinding like your life depends on it and end up with absolutely nothing after.

No, the game's volume is correct. What you guys are experiencing is the limitation of your sound setup. RDR2 uses a rudimentary form of volume normalization. The game allows you to increase the dialogue volume so that it normalize with other sound effects, but the problem is that its dynamic range is permanently locked to full-range (or what is more known as "wide" in other games).

This means that if you do not have a full range system capable of playing from 20hz-20khz, you will have the phenomenon of "volume issues". So no, it's just the limitation of your speakers that you aren't able to fully enjoy the game's audio presentation.

I use a Pro, forced the game to play at 1080p mode - it's pretty quiet (under 44db from 2 meters away), even on hot days without air cond (then again my room is rarely ever hot so...).

You just need to change the fan, that's all. The bearings on the fan is probably well worn out by now, that's the contribution to noise.
"End of life" is actually a myth. I could show you my PS3 phat, the original hot-as-hell 60GB version and it runs like quiet simply because I've changed out the fan and clean out the system. That's all there is to it.

Of course if you want to go for a Pro for the reason of upscaled-4k, then that's a different topic.

What does playing on disc or digital have anything to do with heat? The game loads off the hard drive regardless of where you bought the game from lol.
