Owners, remember to check your tires and adjust the pressure accordingly. Mine was 45 psi and the recommended pressure is 32 psi.

Did some +- 100kph runs and found out the alighment was out. Went to tire shop and adjusted it. Even the camber was slightly off.

Now it rides better over holes, stripes and speed bumps. The tires are quiter as well.

Had a close shave today while on LPT heading to kl.

Heard a sudden loud bang and screeching sound with sparks coming from a city on my right which was overtaking me.

The front bumper dropped and went under the car. The front tires were skating on it. Lucky it didn't swerve into my lane and no one was hurt.

City drivers please check for signs of loose bumper.

On side note, my civic achieved 110kph @ 1.8k rpm. At 2k = 130kph.  2.5k = 150kph.

The car feels very planted at speed but conti MC5 is noisy. Hope it quiets down once it's broken in though I doubt will be much different.

Did you check the tyre pressure?
Quite a number of owners reported their tyre pressure as high as 45psi!
This is way too high and too dangerous.
The noise will be much reduced after adjust to 32psi.
Someone should complain to HM about this! mad.gif

Also realised that all the tyres were pumped up to about 280-300PSI.  doh.gif

So now got it reduced to 220PSI.

The ride comfort has improved a lot.

For real is the car telling me to change oil at 130km mileage? Zzz

Let me guess, you have not read the user manual, right?
Can't you see that it stated very clearly the next oil change is after 9500km? doh.gif
