My SA claims it would spoil the brake pedal if remote engine start was being used as the pedal would press and depress.

For those who wants a rough estimate of 3M tints, I've tinted my car with crystalline 60 fws, scotchshield 40 sides, crystalline 40 rws for 2880

Getting my civic by this week, but not yet decide what tint to go for. The ecotint 1500 as per spec provided by Honda seem like a very good deal. Anyone have experience with it? Plz share some review. Or anyone with any recommendations on other brand cost around 1.5k to 2k plz pm or message me too biggrin.gif

At first i would like to choose Ecotint, but with this price, the front and back windscreen seem not too high tser, about 42% i think, i got initial quote by Raytech also better price and spec. U can upgrade windscreen if needed as it is the most important tint.

The Honda ecotint raybarrier 4 is not up to par with those rm2k+ llumar and vcool. I suspect theres a reason ecotint left out the IRR reading in the specs.

The low IRR means surface like leather and dashboard feels like oven. I got it for free in exchange of the rm1k discount and kinda regretting it.

The only way I cope with it is sunshade. I'm also waiting for the fit to form sun screen.

If you read their press release when Honda Malaysia announced the official tint, they specially mentioned "low IRR" to avoid issues with Smart Tag sweat.gif which is why you see the windscreen is lousy while the windows is not bad on paper.

Anyone of here had experience deal with Cannycool tint shop? It looked pretty good on customer comment/review with reasonable price.

How much is ur tint and can pm me the contact? Will send the car for tinting after taking delivery of it

Urs also has security properties right?
Llumar Diamond 6 is high grade security tint with high break strength.

RM2,800

Llumar came to Regal Valet to tint my wife's Civic. You can call RV's owner Wai Loon (012-2997455).

Thanks for the fast reply anyway. I don't have time to check it out. But, a bit turn off for me. How's the turbocharged working for 1.5? I heard a bit delays when the turbo kicked in when you fully throttle it.. Is it true?

For this kind of experience, i think better you test drive yourself, different peoples have difference feel. For me, i don't have turbo car experience, so i will say yes is very powerful car for new civic 1.5TC. But for those drive other sport car with turbo, the power of the civic TC just feel normal or they will feel turbo lag.

So better test drive yourself.

Your SA needs to go for further training. Remote start won't press & depress your brake pedal at all...
