When driving the car tries to compensate by disabling AC.

Try driving the test car then your car and you might see a difference in throttle response.

My TCP had a similar bug where AC was blowing warm air. I was playing with the HU when it happened. AC button on screen was activated. Had to deactivate AC by pressing the button and then press on again to get cold air back. Only happen once so far. Don't think it's compressor related but bugs on the TCP HU that causes this. Have you all tried pressing AC button on screen Off then On again to get cold air back?

They are great tints. SECH60 Front, C40 front sides, C30 rear sides and rear windscreen. Installed at Honda dealer RM2080.

If not mistaken, only civic in Malaysia have rear vent air-condition. Mean Honda Malaysia has to modify the system.
Mybe this lead to the A/C problem?

Yes, i had this, but the thing is this issue kept on coming back intermittently. Yes i did press AC on then off then on again, and yes the cold air came back.

Anything is possible yes. But so far from what I read in the civicx forums, most people with ac issues would resolve it once they had their compressor replaced. Not discounting anything though... It could really be just a software bug...

Civic FD (8th Gen) has auto lock, but FB (9th Gen) has none iinm. HR-V also has no auto lock. Civic FC (10th Gen) auto lock can be enabled or disabled according to your liking.

Did the first 1K inspection today and Honda said they couldn't find anything wrong. Yet already few cases in US already.

It has been a month now driving my TC since collecting the car on 18th june
not facing any of the problems mentioned here from rattling to ac, hu and usb and hope it stays that way.

Wonder if this issue only affects TCP owners with the software based fan speed control. So far here only TCP owners reported the issue. If it's only TCP owners then even more likely a software bug on the HU.
