How's the 5.5" screen quality? Nice?
*
Yes it is. Not much difference between a 1080p screen despite its 720p resolution (used an LG G3 last time). And props to that, theres a front facing flash that I didnt notice when reading reviews XD.

I also bought it....very nice screen quality, performence very good like high end phone tongue.gif Only 1 thing no good is this phone lack of sensors like finger print sensor, light sensor and etc. If u dont use those sensors then this is the right budget samsung phone. Camera also not bad.

Well, the phone is for mom and she doesn't use all those sensors. Just want a good camera for her friends' gathering group photos/videos, social apps and light gaming. Sounds like a good fit for my requirements. thumbup.gif

Lazada has great deal now. Anyone knows better deal out there? hmm.gif

It handles daily operations really smooth and hence thats really what I was looking for.

I would only argue on the lack of a fingerprint sensor but thats only it.

And I can vouch for mulut99 's statement, battery life on this device is really good.

PS : just make sure you're buying the 2016 one instead, I picked it up at an ordinary Samsung retail shop which can be found in abundance

Have you bought the phone yet?

I bought a J1 2016 from lazada, with next-day-delivery. Placed order and paid on 3-8-2016 at night, phone arrived on 4-8-2016 in the evening.

The order was "Fulfilled by Lazada", similar to that in your link. I am happy with the service so far.

IMHO... J7-6 is the only one worth getting within the J family...

Waiting to see if J7 prime or C7 will make it here...
