still undecided to go for AX-100 or Optoma HD70. Sony VPL-AW15 aint up to my expectation. At that price, I would rather opt for Optoma.

I am a bit worried abt Panny issues. Or am I worrying too much?

Bro, I find the AX-100 PQ is better but the problem that you guys mentioned made me to think twice. I cant understand why the big difference in price. If I do buy HD70, I will ask my bro-in-law to bring it from US. Just wondering will it be taxed. Or put into a lappy bag

Hi, I m confuse now. I m interesting to buy a projector but we are now in transition from normal projector(or HD ready, but not sure what does it mean) to HD projector. But the HD projector still expensive but I guess would drop next year. Is it worst to wait or just get the normal one now in the market? Once everything in HD, are the projector still can be use in HD mode?

Thanks jason! Actually I've seen the HD70 at the AV Show. Passable black levels to me. Already accounted for the fixed offset this projector has. Thank god IKEA has this customisable shelf that's perfect for projector mounting. Planning to mount it on the bottom of shelf to accomodate the offset.

Lucky for me also, can't see the RB's on this 4x color wheel. Hopefully I haven't left out else? BTW who has a HD70 here? Opinions are most welcomed. 

I've decided to go for Sony Bravia AW-15 projector. Anyone here using this projector ? Mind share your experience.

And, also planning to upgrade my amp to Marantz SR-4001 or Pioneer VSX-LX50 (if got extra money).

42"plasma TV is more flexible, but when it comes to pure enjoyment of movies made for the cinema, the projector wins... no argument.

As for the listed price.... its only a listed price.  If you shop around and ask for discount, you will be surprised how much some dealers are willing to give.  Don't be shy to ask!!!
