Nice room setup, You say that it is still a work in progress, aside from the Screen what else is missing.

3 weeks ago I've decided to buy the same Epson TW700 through Jason. The decision was made after reading most of his post on this forum.
So three weeks ago I meet Jason and paid him the deposit. Off all places it was at LCCT [Air-Asia Airport]. I was busy most weekend and he wasn't in Malaysia most weekdays, if I'm not mistaken he's a IT Consutant of some sort in Bangkok. He's seems nice and cute too [but he's married though]. The meeting was short, but from my impresion was he was trustworthy.
Since I'm only dealing with him not the Epson salesperson I need him to be trustworthy. I'm not familar with KL so that was my only option. In another word I basically handed him that deposit money with no recipt whatsoever. Risky but the HD dream must be realised.
There's only one week delay from the original ETA, and yesterday I've recieved my projector from Jason. Not from him directly, but from his father. Mr Leong Senior. So it took about 3 weeks for the projector to arrive. This time the meeting place was at KL Sentral, Departure Area. Mr Leong Sr. only took one go at counting the RM5K+ of RM50 bills. He's that good or the fact that I look very trustworthy.
All this while I didn't post anything regarding this because if anything went wrong I can't bear the embaressment of being duped even on the net. Thankfully Jason Is a very trustworthy person. At one time I even offered him a few hundered ringgit [a-hole tax] for all the thing he has to do to buy the projector and send it to me. But he refuses and stress that he's not doing this for money. What a nice guy.
So semalam arrived from the office, damn box was heavy. I fired up the projector by feeding a signal from my XBOX [old one]. The old xbox can output 720p signal [with the right cable] in XBMC, hence free upscaled DVD, fired up a few animes [xvid], . . . and then Lord of The Ring; Return of the King. Looking at the projected image takes somes adjusting especially when one is so accustomed to a 20" TV. For the time being I only projected to a wall, diagonally around 100", small room. Since it got 5 times bigger than the TV you start to feel that everything got blurred as it got so massive, this happens when you focuses on a single point in the projected image, old habbit die hard as I only accustomed to only focuses on a 1.33 feetē [1'*1.33'] of viewing space and now it's around 30 feetē. But after a while I realised that the only way you can enjoy it is by taking the image as a whole, screw that TV state of mind.
Muck around with the settings and fired up the test pattern. I think the red one is misaligned by one pixel to the left or both blue and green to the right. This can only be seen when I'm upclose to the projector. No biggie, I think the software that I'll be using later can handle this through software setting and I'm not that picky.
In the end I can't thank Jason and Mr. Leong Sr. enough for helping me with my HD dream. You, Jason have made me once again believes that there are still good in this evil infested internet.
Thank You, and I still don't know how to repay you. If youre in the Putrajaya-Serdang are call me I'll buy you breakfast/dinner/lunch whatever.
