N yes , standard shipping thr is based on weght [ l tink, my german not very gud.. ] n once u load it up , it can get to as low as Euro1 per title - all in shipping charge - literally cheapest of all AMZ.. [to compare USA's USD4.5 & higher per title..]
Trick is to confirm tat BD titles hv english audio ; unfortunately most titles do not have english subtitles..

AMZ.CA is out of the picture for me .. ever since it has increased its shipping charges.. I don't even look at its bargain titles at all .. now.. its even more expensive than AMZ.US..
I buy from AMZ. US sporadically becos .. I guess it still realeases its Pre Order [NEW] titles de fastest [ at least the english titles.. anyway ] but sometimes due to its distance n shipping routes can be still slower in reaching us than from de UK.. For instance recently.. for de Star Wars 7 bd - US released it [ I tink ] 2 wks before the UK but I received the UK ones a few days before the US ones..
Ok.. on de DE site.. sumtimes they have bargains like 6 bd titles for E30 or 2 bd titles for E10 or 4 bd titles for E20 - effectively making a bd at E5 each n wif its cheaper shipping rate..
l recently ordered 18 titles for less than RM500 n best of all , AMZ.DE decided to ship it separately, which made it even better.. thou if they had shipped it together, it was still fine [ less than RM500..] so.. ya, its worth it buying there .. like l said earlier, trick is looking for titles tat hv english audio / n english subtitles .. They have a decent Bollywood[Hindi] section but unfortunately no english subtitles so can't buy foreign language titles there [ same wif HK titles too.. ]

Shipping is not faster than UK.. but is not more than from the Americas [include snail mail / CA] ; l hv received a pckg from DE in 10 days but sumtimes can take 3 wks.. [ l tink they have different supply points - not too sure.. ]
AMZ.CA actually charges the most expensive shipping n if you were to check on it.. its actually standard shipping via regular mail [ note tat snail mail actually takes abt 6-9wks from CA ] but AMZ upgrds it to courier [at no xtra cost to us..] A side note for us up north - Courier Co pckgs need not mean 'Faster' for us ... but tats another story la..

We up north here.. will be asked for KDN cert pending customs approval or watnot .. oso heard if u personally dont want to do tat, a small fee can be arranged for de courier guys to do it for u [ thou'.. personally l have not been asked tat.. ]
Wat rubs salt to the wound is tat regular Pos Malaysia deliveries never suffer tis..

I recently bought Terminator Remastered n ID4 for its better video [T] and xtra runtime [ID4 EE]
Mad Men Boxset comes in its own cardboard box n AMZ.UK packed this into the regular AMZ box [ double boxed ] - N tis is de Colectors Ed which has some paraphernalia - not tat l am into that ; just that the price was rite..
Oh.. l am into good entertainment - even if its just a TV serial..

At the moment, l feel 4k isnt worth the upgrade.. what with first gen displays n needing to change everything in my setup n de small increase in my already very decent HD display - l am buying only new titles which l feel its worth to have - not double dipping.....yet..
ID4 20th Anniversary Ed is de EE - if de extra , wat .. 8 mins of footage is worth it [ l tink it is.. ] then ya - hd for me only .. Oh, ID4-2 aka Resurgence is a must buy if for de fact tat its a sequel [not a very good one] n lll get it , if for nothing else .. just for the sake .. to complete my collection

Agree.. sumtimes upgrade not up to expectation.. I have tat - but havent found time to watch yet.. but considering tat de last time l caught tis was on d5/d9 pirated SD, l'd go out on a limb n say itll still be better..
BTW l did try out de remastered Terminator [over de ol PCM version] n ya.. for tis it is really clearer.. didn;t quite notice tat audio is better.. thou'

If you want drop dead gorgeous old picture check out GIGI.. its a very old picture but really really nice.. Audrey Hepburns My Fair Lady oso very nice pics n Sound of Music but both cannot beat GIGI IMO..

I meant Jaws 2,3,4 is out in HD [Bd] .. l only have Jaws [1] .. theres a boxset for de 2/3/4 - probably go for tat when its cheaper..
If you are into oldies n want a good remastered issue .. you must get Gigi.. My Fair Lady n Sound of Music is 2 of my favourites - it just happens its old..
MFL has a new remastered with dolby truhd 7.1 - l have de older dts7.1 n tats awesome - dunno how better tis can be..

Is not important to me.. thou' l have a decent set-up.. IMO there is very little difference in all the modes - from dd/dts to even dd tru hd/dts hd ma but tats just me la.. to me video is utmost - l can live with inferior audio.. for instance older movies like Back to the Future trilogy no matter what mode still is not tat great but the video in HD is awesome..
Actually the newer movies whether dts hd ma or tru hd is fine - not major difference .. l dont think atmos or dts x will make me swoon either .. thou' l dont have that yet.. gathering from hindsight of dd/dts lossy to lossless dd truhd/lpcm/dts hd ma..
