Yup. Speedy got few 4K title with slip cover from UK. I buy this title because it is one of the title recommended in blu-ray.com as one of the best 4K blu-ray. Another reason this title is the only native 4K with slip cover and also the only movie I didn't watch yet.

Playing now and it is absolutely stunning the video HDR output.

Is your 4k player region free? Since UK titles are usually region locked for the standard 1080p Blu-ray (Though i know the 4k version is region free)

Nope, the player is region locked and can't playback region B Blu-ray disc.

But 4K Blu-ray disc wise if not wrong no longer region locked. So far my only two 4K Blu-ray disc is region free, the extra Blu-ray edition also region free.
*
Yep, the 4k ones are not locked, but the extra Blu-ray edition is region free? Amazon UK shows them as B though sad.gif
How much did the Murder on Orient Express cost in Speedy?

*
Really? I'm interested in a few BBC Documentaries however Amazon UK listed them as Region B for the Blu Ray extras.

*
Yep, got it from a Sony Centre at Curve. Don’t think other retailers have it yet since it was just released in Malaysia recently.

Now left only RM 500 cause throw RM 1k to Apple TV 4K already.

Haha! So maybe next month.

Ant recommendation 2.1 soundbar? Within RM 1.5k or below. smile.gif

Yamaha YAS-207 and Sony CT800 lol.
I got the YAS after comparing both in HN in terms of sound only, but if feature/convenience wise is important to you then CT800.
There are few others from LG and Samsung, but I didn’t get to test those.

Really like the JP Limited Edition. Quality of the book cover is quite nice with certain prints are embossed.
Like the artwork pages with some details as well with the total of 8 Discs (4 UHD, 4 Standard BR). Each Discs has their own artwork page.

Some eye candy shots

Yep, was deciding on the steel book limited edition version or this, chose this in the end just because of all the artwork in each page. Makes it more special IMO.
Wished this came with UHD + 3D BR instead of the standard 2D. Wouldn't mind paying more for that option sad.gif

I think 3D is no longer an option. It is on going to face out. Soon no more 3D title to purchase.

Actually when 3D out again (ya again) that time I already know it won't last long because as long as required glasses then it will still come and go very fast and get forgotten.
*
I don't think it'll face out anytime soon since some films do excel with 3D, e.g. Jurassic Park, some documentaries. But 3D only looks great with projectors where the display is much bigger and you can feel the full effect. So yes it is a very small and limited market, but there still are enthusiast around. UHD will still definitely have higher sales for sure.

Who knows, with how tech is progressing, we might not need glasses for 3D in the future. They could incorporate a thin layer on the TV panel that only activates when 3D content is being played tongue.gif

Nearly all TV manufacturer already mentioned in last year no longer will do 3D capable TV.

3D will be success if glasses not needed. Hehe.
*
Haha not surprising, since cost is higher and 3D really only looks good on display above 100". Those i know who watches 3D only uses projector screens, have yet to meet any friends who uses TV for 3D.

3D on OLED tvs look jaw-droppingly good. While its good to have a big screen for 3D, its not really necessary. The 3D that you watch on an OLED tv is far better than what you see in cinemas.
Its also very good on some flagships LCDs but not as good as on the OLEDs.
Unfortunately LG stopped supporting 3D in their 2017 OLED onwards and all other manufacturers have stopped producing it too.
I suppose at some time in the future we will be having 4K 3D with glasses and maybe later the no glasses options will be available.
*
Clarity, Contrast, etc will definitely look better on OLED or even LCD. But for 3D, immersion plays a more important role than other traits IMO. And for that, only size e.g Projector wins my vote.
Unless one can afford a 100"+ OLED/LCD TV tongue.gif

I actually prefer Planet Earth series more, I like more variety of colours to enjoy the HDR aspect. But yep, among most documentaries I've seen I prefer BBC ones the most too.
