wah, you must be a big taiko and have all the free time in the world to convert those into digital media... good for you! i'm pretty sure you have a very big collection there! i dont even have time to watch almost half of my collection yet, let alone re-encode/convert them into soft copies

that's awesome bro, have to be proud of that dedication and commitment.. sorry, i'm a bit out of touch with all these digital copy / media player / android box etc. where did you store all your re-encoded digital files? that must require a huge storage space right... do you have a server or something?

haha... i have not gone through and sort which ones to let go yet. but i do have a few brand new / sealed ones which i want to let go though...

i have not purchase anything massive like an electrical product from amazon US yet so i cant really say much... but what i can say is that electrical appliances bought from the States has different voltage than ours – USA (110v) vs MALAYSIA (240v). you do need a transformer or a converter or whatever to get it to operate. maybe someone with better knowledge with this electrical stuff can explain....

that's great... i have not really jump onto the 4K bandwagon yet since my gears need to be upgraded first to fully enjoy the ultra high def features... although i already owned 2-3 4K titles. furthermore, i already collected like few hundreds of blu-rays so it's a bit of a task to start collecting and replacing with 4Ks now

your amazon US order looks pretty quick... which shipping mode did you choose? certainly not standard shipping...

from my experience, amazon canada is the slowest of them all to arrive... btw, bad boys bundle US version already available in bluray & 4K since late last year

is the panasonic 4K player better than the samsung one? any recommendations for a good 4K player that produced great PQ and AQ, reliable and affordable? i guess not samsung, since they already stopped manufacturing 4K players i used to own panasonic... but that's a dvd player, i'm more into pioneer although my current blu-ray player is sony

wOw, that's a lot of blu-ray titles if you ask me... and great 4K collection too are you into star wars? i know they're not available yet in 4K (the skywalker saga) but i read it is in the works to release a boxset or something next year in conjunction with 40th anniversary of empire strikes back... technically it is already available in 4K if you have Disney+

yup, AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping definitely faster... and nowadays they reduced the charges slightly compared to years ago.

haha... where got that many bro! i'm certainly not those who bought as and when the titles become available in the market... i'm just one of the few cheapskates who's willing to wait until the titles i wanted drop dirt cheap especially during black friday week... how about you bro, long time didnt hear you buy any bluray anymore? or was it because you're saving all the $$$ that long to upgrade to 4K soon...

just sharing first black friday parcel arrived last tuesday 10th december. order made on 28th november and shipped on 6th december... using standard international shipping! that's odd... never before in my 10+ years buying from amazon.com that an ultra-cheapo standard shipping arrived in less that 5 days

this came in today. ordered same time with the one above, but was shipped separately... arrived after 3 weeks, now this is more like a standard shipping time frame.

well, seabiscuit is an old title but a very good movie – it received 7 oscar nominations including best picture and best cinematography amongst others... but unfortunately winning none!

well, clock is ticking.... this probably marks the end of Speedy Video altogether sooner that we thought... i know most outlets already closed down but this particular outlet in 1Utama shopping centre; oddly called ‘Movie Magic’ (Speedy’s company name i think) which is one of the bigger store is closing down!

now having sale on bluray, dvd and even cds... check ‘em out if you’re around the area.

btw, the ‘3 for RM50’ mixed normal & 3D titles! the ‘2 for RM88’ are bigger and newer titles...

bought these three from Speedy sale of '3 for RM50' . i have not owned these before but have intentions to own these for a long time!! i don't think amazon.com will get close to this price if i added shipping fee to each title with the exception of Stuart LIttle 2 & Disturbia, Ninja Turtles is the only other blu-ray title i ever bought that is manufactured locally (or at least from Asia) since my Avatar steelbook back in 2010
