You can choose Sony blu-ray player if you use it to play "dvds"…

I think no particular model, any Sony blu-ray or dvd player from old to new are able to play it

Of course you must have the disc in ORIGINAL

that's dirt cheap, even with black friday standard!  thumbup.gif which outlet did you buy them from if you don't mind me asking...?

I got it from speedy video outlet at aeon Ipoh station 18, I believe this deal is still on-going at all outlets

The fact is only at limited titles selection, if you're lucky, you might get some rare title

well i guess it's quite tricky what "support" means right now to Speedy because if we buy more now (especially during sales), it means the faster they'll close down when most stocks cleared...  laugh.gif but i get what you meant  thumbup.gif

Well if we support along the way maybe they will keep the business going on without closing down, but that's only my thought...chances are pretty slim

I heard from some one that speedy video will close all the outlets from this year until 2020...only remain the branch in Johor state, and I have thinking it might be true since the new opening shopping mall "mid valley southkey" in jb recently have open a new store in it

oh, that's a shame.... i think they know it's immenent, physical is dying. but i still prefer physical over streaming and all that.

but hey, who needs speedy video when we can buy from online retailers which is way cheaper. price was a factor too for physicals selling in m'sia (unless the selective discounted titles offered by speedy recently). if we compare side-by-side the price of a normal movie ticket; in m'sia about RM15-18... and so does in the States USD15-16 ish, so it is close. so why the-f when a blu-ray in the US is selling between USD15-25, in m'sia price difference is like sky high at around RM79.00-100.00++??? doh.gif
*
Kinda missed the old days where you get excited when they selling titles which you really wanna dig it...! All the outlet at my location was all closed, and I haven't choose to use streaming service yet hmm.gif

Speedy video was the only source to touch & pick the physical media on the spot where you cannot get this kind of experience based online, although online selection was a lot wider & choices

Hmm...they should take the notice and reduce the bd price if they want to keep the business going. Anyway they have announced will start an online based business to sell their media's, but not sure when will started

I have check on their website months ago, but it seems like very limited selection, plus no updates at all from time to time

Even the outlet list some have closed quite some time ago & yet it still mentioned there

well, clock is ticking.... this probably marks the end of Speedy Video altogether sooner that we thought... i know most outlets already closed down but this particular outlet in 1Utama shopping centre; oddly called ‘Movie Magic’ (Speedy’s company name i think) which is one of the bigger store is closing down!

Oh no.... Is it confirm that they're closing down?
Any idea the sales is until when? End of the month? cry.gif
