All PC blu-ray disc player is region locked. They give you few times to change region, once finished, the last change region will became permanent.

If you want region free, you need to buy a software call DVDFab Passkey.
The bypass for every type of disc is sold separately.

Have been waiting for sooo long for this to drop in price. Finally a surprise 1 day sale. Took just over a week to arrive from US. 😬

Update: Damn, just opened and the inside casing the plastic clip was broken...

I have SO MANY QUESTIONS. I plan to buy 4K Blurays from Amazon U.S.

1. Is it me or they don't have standard shipping anymore? Only EXPEDITED & PRIORITY?

2. So if STANDARD they send by Pos Malaysia like normal mail? What about EXPEDITED & PRIORITY?

3. Which one should I choose if I want "pos laju" type deliveries where signature is required instead of throwing into mail box?

4. They don't allow delivery to P.O Boxes anymore??

I hope someone can answer 😇

Correct - I think there was too much cheating and missing parcels. AFAIK Expedited is only $5 more expensive than Standard, so it shouldn't matter. And it is much faster - parcels now arrive within 2 weeks.

2. So if STANDARD they send by Pos Malaysia like normal mail? What about EXPEDITED & PRIORITY?
Expedited also use Pos Malaysia if I remember correctly, only exception is it has full tracking of the parcel.

3. Which one should I choose if I want "pos laju" type deliveries where signature is required instead of throwing into mail box?
Choose Priority - they will partner with UPS or DHL if I remember correctly.

4. They don't allow delivery to P.O Boxes anymore??
No idea, never had a P.O. Box before.

Hi Guy,

Is it true that only Intel able to have playback on Blu-ray with an optical drive? I just bought a music video Blu-ray and now I'm looking for an optical drive that can do playback through desktop. Seem like those drives must be imported as those sold on shopee or lazada look dodgy.

Chinese subtitle blu-ray is not easier to find. If you already rip out, just get the subtitle elsewhere and later merge in using MKV Toolnix.

During the pandemic and even now, when i chose "Priority" they didn't use DHL anymore - sometimes they sent using UPS.

If it wasn't UPS they will use ECMS Express or SF Express. Difference is that the last mile delivery will be handed off to independent couriers like FMX (for ECMS) or Ninja Van (for SF).

Choosing "Expedited" will give you ECMS or SF (haven't had PosLaju so far) - which so far hasn't been a problem - even stuff packed in soft envelopes arrived safely. During MCO in my condo, they will leave a message (on whatsapp) that they have left the parcel in our lobby cabinet.

Stopped using "Priority" and switched to "Expedited" to save some money.

Well you may try from Facebook blu-ray group, i do found them quite reasonable, sometimes they will drop their blu-ray or 4k bd pricing to clear stock.

Since most 4k bd also come with 1080p bd, I wonder if there's anyone who is willing to sell the 1080p bd alone.

Then will be lack of those cover art, because some titles can't find a high resolution online
