doesn't support some of the latest chip like x60 modem.

mine in the 2nd prerequisites, it says:

# Adapted base-band and driver is installed
No compatible devices were detected

my chip is snapdragon 888, x60 modem.

this is more to do wit the phone firmware of each phone manufacturer.
phone supports variety of band, but how it knows which band to use, when to switch on the fly?
it depends on the phone manufacturer, what they deemed as good enough signal.

also, 5G drains battery.
most phone will auto switch to 4G when idle, & goes bck to 5G when u start using.
