You use prepaid or postpaid?

Try dial using country code +60xxxxxxxx, or 0060xxxxxxxx if your phone does not have +, I try using this method and it works

It is not recommended to order one if you are not after unlimited calls and yes, it's fine to use on 4G phone.

Your best bet to order one online from Yes website

After subscribed the 5g plan,

I don't understand how the 5g network works. The signal is so not consistent, can get good 5g signal for couple of minutes then dropped back to 4g network... Really facepalm...

I'm a U Mobile subscriber and took the opportunity to get the free Yes5G pack since I had a compatible 5G phone. I wasn't expecting much from the 5G since it's still on trial and the coverage is limited. From what I have experienced, the 5G speed is excellent ....... when it works. The signal strength is unstable, one moment it's super fast, next there is no signal.

However, what's even more disappointing is the poor 4G performance. I thought U Mobile was bad but YES is almost unusable. The signal strength fluctuates a lot and I can't even use Google Maps properly when driving around PJ.

Is this what I can expect from YES or am I doing something wrong?

Cant agree any more...

When will the 30days start counting? Could keep this simcard and use later a few months later? Could choose the number? TQ

Upon activation.
Simcard can keep for at least a month, max? I don't know.
Can choose the system assigned number.

The correct word should be
Port Out Telco should be responsible to ensure the consumer smoothly port out from existing telco.
Cause the one which buat hal is usually the current telco.

Digi is one of them.
Unfortunately our culture is not the same as Singapore.
Singapore telcos will call the customer and salvage the customer with free gift or whatever they can offer just to get the customer to stay on.
So far I only heard Maxis does that. Other telco make u port out a difficult journey.
*
Yes, you r right...port out from Digi really a nightmare. Even replied YES but keeping saying owner rejected the request. Wtf

no I actually meant what I said. What you suggesting is not going to fix the problem. Because the Existing telco still have the driver seat. How can you regulate existing telco to make sure they actually not playing tricks? They could always play dirty tricks like technical failure, system failure to try to get consumer give up or attempt to scam them another 1-4 weeks.

What I am suggesting is to give the driver seat to new telco. Let control them take full control of MNP process, because it is new telco best interest to MNP consumer ASAP due to incentive to make future money. New Telco is better power in dealing with existing telco compared to individual user.

This is a shit idea. That means as a Telco, they got no incentive to offer better deals for consumer until consumer port out.

In my opinion counter-offer deal should be banned after consumer already perform to port out. I personally feel disgust that I am only able to get a better deal ONLY when I port out.
Telco should be offering zero reason b4 consumer press the port out better. They should be giving us consumer zero reason to press the port out button. Not after we press port out button. We consumer port out for a reason, if our telco is the best in town, why would we port out?
*
The concept is just like after tender resignation, your boss countet offer u with better paid among your colleagues.. it is fair??
Imho, this is matter of give and take and subject to personal preference. There r no right or wrong.

May I know does Yes works the same way as Unifi for their broadband? Like offering rebate or higher speed at lower price if we attempt to port out?

Currently on unlimited 2mbps line for RM88 but the speed is intolerable.
*
2mbps at rm88, I wonder which era u r living?

Thank you for reply... but anyway can push yes to include it into supported phone? Has anyone done that before and yes listen?
*
Nothing to do with YES, it is the stupxx DNB problem. Not all 5g devices are supported. Wtx

No it is not. I have been trying to do this every month.

Currently I have RM46 credit expiring on 3 July 2025.

I also have a data plan expiring 22 June 2025.

On 22 June I will subscribe YES data plan using the method you describe (set payment type to Yes Credit).

It will deduct the amount (RM20 for 50GB is my normal choice). The plan will show as expire on 22 July 2025.

But the credit validity still will be 3 July 2025. After 3 July I won't be able to use data or the line anymore until top up more.

This matches with the other responses above. What am I doing wrong?
*
Buying add-on won't extend the plan validity, this is really sxxx for YES plan.

I already felt that back then, and the consistent of 5G drop connection to 4G eventhough its under full 5G coverage, make me terminate this postpaid. Complaint many times but told resolved. Even make report to MCMC, YES inform them already resolve via report number etc2.

And it's 4G not ok, even whatapps also cant receive messages under 4G line for most of time
*
Yes, Yes 5g really not that consistent, always up and down.

I’ve fully moved away from Yes 4G (sim expired) and using Halo Telco now. My LTE 3CA modem performs well with both Yes4G HaloTelco4G. So it just boils down to price. HaloTelco RM35 for 150GB per month is hard to beat. Before this I used Yes4G RM20 50GB which not enough. Kalau spend RM40 for 100GB, it already costs more than HaloTelco’s 35/150GB.
