QUOTE(dgboy @ Jul 4 2023, 05:12 PM) Yes will give you a new number. You can port in your current number anytime and continue using the new Yes sim. The option is in the MyYes app. However, I suggest you test the Yes service first before committing to porting. Thanks for the reply. My brother in law had try Yes prepaid 5G, speed quite good in my place. I had decide to switch port for my current number. U***i quite pricey, and there is no offer for free phone. The new phone they provided for the Infinite Basic quite promising. Just the contract takes longer time, but it's ok for me. |

QUOTE(4WD_er @ Jul 12 2023, 04:22 PM) Just bite the bullet and get one to enjoy high speed 5G earlier better Yes hopefully can buy it during year end sale. I bought Yeacomm NR330 modem during 6/6 sales, total I paid was RM918 if not mistaken. Best decision ever My previous B525-65A only delivered about 30mbps at my home area, swapped the 5G simcard to Yeacomm modem, boomed my speed became 300-500 mbps. Super happy till now. Subsequently sold off the B525 for RM350 Is there any other modem that support 5G other than Yeacomm and Four Faith? |

QUOTE(4WD_er @ Jul 12 2023, 04:52 PM) I think you get what you pay, when it comes to the sheer speed of 5G connection of it's wifi speed (when use the modem as router). Take the wifi 2.4ghz and 5ghz speed divided by 8 ya oh yeah, the network band getting lesser compare to the price. need to priotize which Telco that can use for each modem. Thanks for the modem list. it helps a lot.Yeacomm ![]() Huawei and others ![]() China Unicorn (cheaper at RM600+), much less bands do note. ![]() So, Yeacomm is still among the best when it comes to price-performance ratio. QUOTE(aska123 @ Jul 13 2023, 09:46 AM) Hi Guys, For Yes5g if anyone facing the issue which when i on 5g, the line will non stop disconnect and switch between 4g and 5g. if i turn off 5g and only run 4g, everything is stable. Not from my side. Maybe your area got a network issue since it keep switching?Any idea ? Yesterday my phone not able to connect to any websites / apps even though the data is ON and 5G icon on network bar is available. It work fine, after I restart my phone. Maybe you can try too? |
