Hi guys,

Anyone know for YES Kasi up, if the data validity is until 1st November 2021

But credit balance expiry date is until 16th October 2021.

In this case will i still able to use the data after credit balance expired ? (17 onwards)

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Currently, i have a RM 1 Yes Sim Card and have been using it for 2-3 months.

Now i wish to MNP my Digi line to yes through Yes App, is this process will replace my Digi number with the existing yes sim card? or i will receive a new yes sim card?

Pick up the Yes FT5G RM30/month plan, they do have unlimited calls to all networks

Hi bro,

I currently don't have a 5g phone yet, any idea if i can use the FT5G plan on a 4g phone first while I wait for a 5g phone to come?

Not planning to use 5g at the moment due to is not covered in my house area.

Is all the yes center can get the FT5G sim already? previously I remember only certain centers can do so.

Thanks for the info.

It is not recommended to order one if you are not after unlimited calls and yes, it's fine to use on 4G phone.

Your best bet to order one online from Yes website

Not recommended due to the 4g speed cap 7mbps?

My Yes credit is suddenly being deducted by Yes Mobile.

I have checked with them, they say that I have sent out an SMS to 66668 but in fact, my number is used for data and did not receive or send any SMS.

Did anyone face the issue before ? So far have deducted for few SMS charges and I am not sure will the "unknown SMS" will continue to be charged or not.

I have emailed Yes and basically, they say they as a service provider the charges are legit, and based on their record my number has sent SMS. So will not proceed for further checking. ...................

Seems like they don't give a ShXit on their customer.

Is the deduction amount 90 Sen per SMS?
*
Deduction amount per SMS 0.09 but I have been charged for almost a few SMS every day or every few days.

The total charge as of now is RM 9.18 in total and temporarily has stopped for a few days. Not sure will it continue or not.

You use iPhone or Android? If iPhone, it is due to iOS verifications... if Android, it is "theoretically" due to Google Messages which verifies access to RCS settings....

Don't use Google Messages and disable it...
*
I using android. Huawei P10 plus.

How to check is it due to the google messages problem?

I cant find anything regarding to google messages or RCS setting.

Appreciate if can guide me on how to disable it. Cause i cant remember i have enable anything and this is the first time i facing this issue.

Means the google message will send in the background which I can't see any SMS sent out?

The funny thing is I did not receive any SMS or send any SMS for the past 1 month. So means it just suddenly send out without my knowledge.

I also dunno if i send STOP is effective or not lol

Understand bro

We all kena these charges time to time

It could be many causes, such as verification sms, rogue app or subscription

Is it a new number or you are using long time?

Sometimes recycled prepaid numbers inherit sms subscriptions from the previous owner, that's why STOP ALL is worth a try
*
I used it for about 6 months.

Thanks for the advice.

Will try on it. thumbsup.gif

Suspend the current home fibre Internet access and buy Yeoh Tiong Lay monthly quota. Use the Yeoh Tiong Lay monthly quota to "temporarily" replace home fibre until credit finish.

doh.gif

In that case maybe just to download movie from phone then hahahaha.

Anyway do u know how to change the 4g sim card to 5g sim? isit must go to their shop ?

Main concern the existing credit inside will can transferred to 5g sim card or not hahahaha

Yes 4G has LTE-A but need your phone to support their combination of the spectrum, i.e. 2300+2600 or 2300+2300+2600 etc...

Anyone know what is LTE sms charge to 01140880809? My account was deducted for some sms that was not sent by me. Yes4g claim it is a LTE sms charge. I wonder what is that.

I also had the same problem before. but is to some sms code.

It seems like some google verification things and one more is xiaomi verification.

No sure your one is the same.
