I'm using YES sim, but I'm not sure if mine got 5G or not.
How can I check if the SIM can use 5G? Or can all YES sim use 5G and that its just limited by whether you are using a 5G phone or not?
I don't see the option of 5G in my YES Apps

My current YES line seems to be very very weak in Malls (E.g 1 Utama) and even Lotus Supermarkets lol.
Is this a 4G line problem? Does changing to 5G SIM help?

Yes's 4G line is generally weak in indoors compared to other big telcos. Changing of sim card does not really help.

Then it seems it wont matter if I opt to go for Yes5G. Any recommendation for a more stable telco?
Using an average of 50gb Data on a monthly basis at the moment

Download the YES App, login.

See what plan u're on.

Prepaid Kasi Up LTE = no 5G

YES FT5G Discover = got 5G

Seems mine is Prepaid Kasi Up LET = no 5G

If I want to go for the YES FT5G Discover, AND I want to keep my current number, how can I do so?

any telco that gives you the most stable network at places you frequent to.
you can start by testing out the network by buying their prepaid sim to test before porting out your number.

There are rumours saying that if you use a new telco, it works wonders for the first two months, then throttles down alot.
Or maybe that's just a myth?
Is testing prepaid SIM still viable ?
