your place must under yes coverage map.

Mobile broadband coverage map(s) shown is(are) based on computer simulations outdoor at the street level. Device’s surroundings, environmental obstructions, distance to the base stations may affect the actual coverage and customer experience.

Currently I'm using maxis. Been using maxis since 2014. I wanna know, how's the experience of using Yes ? How's the coverage? Any ex maxis user can share? Thanks.

I am hotlink line switched to YES line with hotlink line as backup (365 day validity).

Coverage in my areas (Subang Jaya, Sungai Long, PJ) is good, not worse than hotlink at all.

I tend to have to fallback on my hotlink line when in the mall (esp for ewallet payment, or loading menu on those QR code). Not all mall, for example if you know Sunway Pyramid Go Noodle, there no problem (edge of mall) but Kim Gary which is just a few shops down, YES can be quite slow unless you sit at the outer edge of the shop.

General recommendation - don't rely on it when inside big building. Or upstairs in high rise apartments (both in klang valley and JB I had this issue, but it affect both YES and Hotlink similarly la).

So far really love it. Been up and down north south. Coverage so far can say 80% lah. But most of the time very little regret choose yes in my case.

BTW new digi u40 is unlimited 6mbps with300gb fup. Coverage is as good as Digi+Celcom combined

it all depends on location location location. even in ur house, certain spots may not have good reception. high advised to try out their prepaid sim around areas u frequent before committing to anything.

If you want extra saving in-terms of extended validity for every top-up, you can top-up each RM5 separately rather than lump sump top-up of RM30. Every RM5 top-up you got 12 days validity --> RM5 x 6 times top-up = 72 days validity. Rather than one time top-up of RM30, only give you 61 days account validity.
This is my honest advice.  biggrin.gif

RM5 = 12 days validity?

I have reload RM5 today, then will expire on 13/06/23.

Then, no enough 12 days validity, rite?

YES can keep it as secondary simcard as backup ...
It doesn't has any signal when inside tunnel (LRT underground).
Inside tall building or parking B1 no line....

Yup. Those is some area that Yes should improve.
I keep yes as main line and yoodo as secondary backup.

RM25 for unlimited is a steal to be honest.

Any difference between YES FT5G discover sim pack (RM 15) and Yes Prepaid FT5G Unlimited (RM 30) selling in Shopee?

Currently using Hotlink Postpaid, would like to try out Yes 5G

But no idea which one to buy, any difference between both of them?

The difference between both of them is the included data package

RM15 = 10GB 4G/5G data with uncapped 4G/5G speed for a month, with unlimited calls, hotspot follows data balance
RM30 = unlimited data for a month (4G @ 7Mbps, 5G uncapped), with unlimited calls, 12GB hotspot

Then RM15 one will do, but if I wanna continue to use RM15 plan then can buy it on the yes app?
