I really wish MCMC force telco to abandon SIM validity.

So much hassle.  bangwall.gif  I plan to port out to Digi next month for this reason alone.

I still have one plan with Pantas, thats ok since I can go with 1 year plan.

celcom have super duper long validity plan name SOX > UOX > 26 years old birthday
the catch is stay with the same old plan or long validity gone

A1) Yes. Apply and get the FREE 5G SIM at https://www.yes.my/docs/faq-ms/first-to-5g/...pack-programme/ . The existing Kasi-Up SIM card can throw away...

A2) Yes. Between 0.05 Gbps to 1.35 Gbps....

By applying your lowest range, it is still better than my basic Unifi rm 89 plan with 0.03,Gbps and I am thinking of cut my Unifi since I no longer work from home.

It is advisible ?

Keep it as backup... use the free F5TG Discovery to test for the next 30 days... The FT5G also comes with LTE quota for 10GB / 30days...

If during the 30 days testing, the 5G/LTE is not performing well, throw that 5G SIM and continue with current telco...

As for UniFi, better downgrade to PRE-paid Unlimited @ RM35/month. The UniFi calls can buy quota @ RM20 / 200 minutes...

No point buying 5G router if the telco didn't approve the device....

Example, most of current 5G phones still cannot support Yeoh Tiong Lay's 5G spectrum and awaiting for both parties to release firmware updates to each devices.

As for me, just use any supported 5G phones to becum Mi-Fi and have unlimited 5G hotspot is good enough. The only downside is limited to 5 devices only.
