I am not saying that the Altitude phones are not cheapass phones, we know they are cheapass phones but there are more to this than just a failure in the battery.

Whether were
1. the battery install correctly.
2. using one of those fake chargers by UGreen, LDNIO, Baseus ... yes .. they are super dodgy that is why they are so cheap.
3. using faulty power point that causes arching in the charger.
4. Fluctuating power.

There are so many factors that can easily make the cheap phone go kaboom. I have seen some using cheap dodgy cables and chargers the damage it cause the phone is so not worth it.. but I normally get the " My friends and I have use so many of these with no problem " reply doh.gif

People have to understand that Li-ion batteries are like a bomb and it burns for a while. I have personal experience with them going off in a chain of a few cells. It is not a joke and the fire will not stop until all of them are burn off.

I still do not think the coverage is wide enough compared to the big 4, not even Unifi Mobile

Mind that it is 4G only telco so VoLTE is mandatory for phonecall

But if coverage is not important for you or your MNP number is not your primary number then should be fine

Yes is good, just the coverage is pathetic
They don’t even have roaming agreements with other telcos like Umobile with celcom.

Hard to say since most people at home. KL and PJ so far ok.

OpenSignal test looks good.

Potential issue if you use TAC for bank, etc. Not sure how well it works on a full 4G system. Need more feedback on this.

No telco have full coverage and if coverage is important for you then you should have a back up line ... easily done with Dual SIM smartphones.

When I was with Digi many years ago .. the signal was full .. but once a call is place, drop to zero .. so back up line from 2 different non sharing providers would be best that have coverage at where you go most of the time.

My last use was a year ago. I remember I didn’t encounter much problem except no service in some shopping malls. And yeah the performance of the 4G wasn’t exceptionally good too, just usable.

Coverage across JB is okay. I never experience any connectivity issues except some slowdowns and malls (very poor coverage).

Yes coverage is very good nearby government schools.

If you have coverage, most of the time, the line is good, better than Umobile .

Unfortunately, coverage is limited and mostly hovers only around city area.

I would suggest for you to order the rm1 sim from shopee and test it first. If the coverage is good, MNP for the rm49 100gb postpaid plan with 6 months free.

Use XOX 28months prepaid package sim as a backup sim.
