Anyone using phone not in the compatibility list? of course with supported band. Able to use or not? Thinking something like oneplus 3.

Phones listed on the compability are phones that are tested to work on Yes. That are chances that phone not in compability list work on Yes

After getting poor service around a month ago, I just decided to put my Yes sim card somewhere else and today when I plugged it into my phone, their service had significantly improved. Speed from 7-10Mbps a month ago to 40-50Mbps rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Since I'm a UTAR student I always get 59+ Mbps average speed. It's awesome to have 4G LTE connection everywhere rather than slow sloppy 3G speed.
*
I got that kind of speed too at Sg. long campus. U Mobile and Digi too congested.

I only manage to get 3G speed using Digital around my area but I got constant 4G speed with Yes.

Digi falls back to 3G from LTE quite frequently for me when I'm in KB block especially second floor.

need help form you all.

I have checked the coverage on their website, it's no coverage in my company.

1) no coverage mean totally no line? or still can run on 3G speed?

2) if my house got coverage and my device not support 4G, then It will automatically run at 3G speed?

thanks

Yes 4G is either 4G or no connection at all
Yes doesn't have 3G or 2G network

My phone note 5 was said to work with yes but it doesn't seem to get a steady connection tried on s7 it works perfectly anyone know how to go about this

You must enable VoLTE. Devices with VoLTE support must enable it or else would be denied access from Yes network.

For some reason, phones that are not listed on supported devices can't access Yes network even it had the LTE band support.

Bought a J7 and got the prepaid simcard free. Activated and tried the data in Banadar Utama. Totally rubbish. In a highly populated area like BU , the webpage cant even load.

Cant even send a whatsapp msg. Damn lousy line

I've experienced exact same issue here over at Kajang. I was getting pretty poor speed like around 15Mbps for a while and then suddenly one day, no data connection even though it's connected to their network. After two week of having this issues, it somehow works and I'm getting constad 60Mbps above speed and improved service quality. It seems like they are doing some network upgrade aroubd that area.

None of the iPhones are supported yet. Yes is still working with Apple to get it work even though it had the required LTE bands.
