In the morning, took Lrt to work
PRC came in
PRC started scratched his hair non stop
His dandruff flew all over the train coach
Got 1 minachi 1 awek stood behind PRC
Both of them took few steps away from PRC
Minachi n awek laughed at PRC
I stood beside n blocked the dandruff with arm
The moment train opened the door, I ran away from him

#kthxbye

Serious question though, how do you know that he is not a local? To us (meleis), you guys look the same
*
U offended local Chinese feeling by comparing them with PRC...

Since u asked, here the different

1. PRC barbaric in term of attitude, regardless gender
2. PRC slang is different like they speak with something under the mouth. They loud
3. PRC got smaller, fairer flawless skin than local Chinese
4. PRC smaller in size n not style their hair
5. PRC women wear excessive gold accessories
6. PRC move in large group
7. Most guy PRC face like Jack Ma, female like big mama

Any question?

Can you tell the difference between Indons and meleis ?
*
Yes, indon male smaller in size, female nasi lemak powerful than local Malay(kidding)
Indon female hair is messy than local Malay n less rely on make up

QUOTE(marlick25 @ Jun 17 2016, 10:45 AM)
In some occasions, but not all. And in most cases, I am not 100% sure if the guy is malay or indon.

So this is why I want to know, how does TS know immediately that the guy is PRC?

His face, hair, msg on his phone, his lanyard is ZTE

i tot mmalaysian Chinese also behave the same no?
*
No la, most of the local Chinese scared of making a big fuse. More educated n pretending like they from high class society. So they care how other people perceive them.
The local more like poker face
But local Chinese like hokkien is a bit like PRC

The PRC like barbarian, start war everywhere...like alpha male, rude.

QUOTE(marlick25 @ Jun 17 2016, 10:57 AM)
Offended? I was asking a simple question, and a valid one.

Except for number 5, I have seen all of them being done by local chinese. To be fair I cant really distinguish number 2 since I dont talk your language.

Face like Jack Ma? That one is a typical face. Female like big mama? Seriously
*
U see. A while ago, a lot of local Chinese take the blame for the wrong doing of PRC.
In Japan, restaurants ban a Malaysian Chinese from entering bcoz Japanese mistaken them as PRC
So not all local like PRC as well.
Even Hong Kongese hate PRC

Number 5 bit typical but there is different in face feature other than the small eye factor

Number 2 u don't have to know the language to differ them
PRC language is fast , high tone n unclear. Unclear like they eating something n talk

QUOTE(marlick25 @ Jun 17 2016, 11:04 AM)
You see, this is just generalisation. Not all of them are small. You might be right about females having big breast, but so do the malays!

The reason I cant really distinguish indons and meleis is because, well, some of us come from the same descendant. I for one have Jawa blood.

With my limited knowledge, Malaysian Chinese do come from the great land of China, right? So all of sudden there are big differences between the two of you?

Another valid question, can you really distinguish Indians from India and Malaysian Indians?
*
I can differ a Malay, local Mamak Muslim n Indon
I can't really differ a sumandak n cewek by appearance unless they speak
I can't differ Indian...

Plz la, that's history la...
People adapt new surrounding n culture as well in new place

QUOTE(SereneAshley @ Jun 17 2016, 11:09 AM)
PRC, Koreans and local Chinese most of the time I can differentiate by their mannerism, look and dressing style.

Between Indon and local Malays, only sometimes, because they different type of facial features.
*
Yes, I can differ a PRC, Koreans n Japanese too.

Japanese is too polite
I bumped into 2 Japanese girls in Lrt, u will know right away through their outfit

Korean also speak very fast, but their appearance will tell u they Korean

PRC xyah cakap la...

QUOTE(marlick25 @ Jun 17 2016, 11:45 AM)
Well, that is because normal people cant really differentiate the difference between PRC and other chinese from another countries! Unless it is really obvious, if that is the case.

Lol, local mamak muslim and malay are not that hard to be distinguished. But can you distinguish between local mamak muslim and local indian? I bet my ass you cant, cause they both wear the same clothes and they both speak the same language!

Come on man, the cases that you mentioned, they are like one case out of how many? You might be right the first time but can you be right the whole time? I mean, can you really know a Japanese is a Japanese if he/she cant speak Japanese? How about those Japanese that were raised and born in America? Are you able to tell that he is Japanese (or at least has Japanese blood) when he is speaking fluent English?

My point is, you cant really distinguish people into categories. People are unique. Not all of them are the same. I once saw a dark looking malaysian in a LRT, speaking fluent chinese language! These kind of people, can you 100% say what race/nationality they are? They could be half chinese half indian, half malay half chinese or just malay who went to SJKC.
*
I don't blame Japanese coz they don't stay with us in same country. But u different. We same country

No need bet ur ass...
Yes, I can differ a Mamak Muslim with Indian
Mamak Muslim skin quite 'shining'

For pure race Japanese very easy to tell. Not those half blood or those get assimilated with the other place culture

If half blood I got confuse
Like my Japanese awek kolik
First day I met her, I really got confused
Wanna say she is Chinese but don't look Chinese, Malay but the way she dress too exposed

QUOTE(marlick25 @ Jun 17 2016, 12:14 PM)
Same country or not, people can get confused easily. Having Jawa blood, people from various races have recognised me as a chinese.

One time when I came early to a class with my Sabahan friend(he looks exactly like a chinese, but he's half chinese half kadazandusun), the lecturer (she was chinese) thought we both were chinese but on her paper, there was no chinese name.

Another time I took a taxi, the Indian driver thought I was chinese and tuned in to a chinese radio.

When I was at genting, a chinese girl near the bus station approached me in chinese language. When I gave her the look, she quickly spoke in Malay.

So far, malays have never failed to identify me as one of their own.

You see where I am getting?
*
Good la.
While people thought I am Malay.
Even the Chinese thought I am Malay.
Last time, got Chinese couple shopping when I was promoter.
The guy spoke in Malay, so I entertained him in Malay.
Then his gf said I am Chinese coz my name pass got my name.
That guy told the gf that maybe I borrowed someone pass.
I said that pass is mine in Cantonese.Good la, they bough RM 200+ accessory from me

Then one day got a Malay fella asked for donation for something I not sure. Arabic word. I said I am Chinese, he apologized n left.

Even I go casino, the police still check my IC. Either I am too young or look like Malay, ur call...

So, local Chinese is no longer a pure Chinese anymore.
