Hi guys, I'm wondering is it is possible to remove the background instrument playing in my video, or at least increase the vocals so that the background noise doesn't overpower the volume? This is a documentary shooting and my interviewee has very great insights about my topic but the background noise is too loud (people playing musical instruments in the background).

If you have any friends in the audio industry, using Pro Tools and Waves plugin, use X-Noise to remove some undesirable sounds, then can slowly filter and filter and filter. If an audio is tainted, it's tainted for good. You can only salvage to a certain extent so don't go too crazy on the sound removal or it'll sound super computer generated and not natural warm sounding.
