Piston ring changed oredi 6 months ago. Engine oil level is normal, that's why we are puzzled by that at first. Then we realized it's the camshaft and valves that are causing the problem.

Yeah, if you sponsor me the SR16VE N1 version, it'll be very very easy for me.

in case u havent asked yet: even at this moment, they are still giving the free body-kit. will be getting my 1.6 SG-L soon
and it comes with the NISMO body-kit

This thread is very quiet lately...

I am unsure of 1.6 auto but surely n16 manual 1.6 can reach 195km/h.
Since the auto is on 4 gears, manual is on 5 gears. BUT more important is the gear ratio difference of both actually.




R U on some 16", 17" which is heavy and so the top speed compromised?

at night B14 Sentra, is off can hit 190km/h on highway. But you got to rev out the engine.

Like to intro myself. call me monmon.
I am a nissan sentra n16 owner, i have not been able to find much things to mod for this car. i would like to start with ideas of an extractor, who could have one? I think hotbits might, and everco definitely don't.
i read there's no sense in modifying this car as there's no potential.
i am only looking to improve it a little, and wait till the warranty runs out before i attempt something stupid on it.

1.5, 1.6 or 1.8.......dun buy hotbits yet.....research abit before committing. There are some custom guys who do a V. good job.

Plenty can be done to these engines, its all a question of $$$$$. If 1.8 duh..go SR20DET lo or SR20VE. If 1.6 then SR16VE.

There's currently 2 choice, ready made. Hotbits and a chapalang brand (local). Hotbits is better from performance point of view as it's mandrel bent which should offer better flow that the crush bend chapalang brand. That's in theory. I haven't seen a back to back dyno sessions for both.

dude... R u sure Sebring and Borla has extractor for Sentra N16?!

IMHO, there's oni two types available off the shelves locally.

1. Hotbits (mandrel bent)
2. Chapalang brand (crush bend)

Both priced around the same with Hotbits slightly more expensive.

The best header/extractor for the QG series engine would be HotShots from US. If you can pay the money, that's the best bang for buck, NA wise...

Finally found the Pulsar VZ-R (SR16VE NEO VVL) halfcut! This one's condition is not as good as the previous one I found, but this one at least still have the dual airbags intact... Overall, it ain't too bad, and the halfcut seller told me that the exhaust manifold is not OEM, it's been changed to a high performance one (not sure how true this is)... I put a deposit for this halfcut liao... Now I need to get my mech friend to go check it out on Monday or Tuesday...

Yeah, transplanting the dashboard also, if not, no point to buy the halfcut, I'm driving a B14, so no mod is required, just one to one swap as the B14 shares the same mounting points as the N15...

Halfcuts no need acquired tastes wan woh...

is there any joint part between the front and back door?

actually i go for a used car shop today to get one..i check out that and boss say is ntg..he say is not my job to inspect the car bla bla bla..he say surely can pass puspakom..

so i found out theres two joint part above the front and back door..other thing all looks well..

i know some car are orignally like that like wira which have a factory joint part at the Apillar area..

pls clarify for me..
