Well, it could very well be a nice name when written in Chinese language/characters.
But in Malaysia, spelling is based on dialect pronunciation.

This is why I think overseas Chinese should follow China and use Mandarin pinyin to standardize spelling of names.
But this will open up a huge can of worms.
