If the company ask me to fill in a form which requires me to put in my expected salary? Then what should i write or just leave it blank?

Sorry for asking so much cuz i have no experience at all to be interviewed in SG and not sure the market salary rate in SG too. smile.gif

I would put in a number which you can justify. This means that you have to be able to demonstrate your thought process to arrive at the number, and not just some random number. I think you should not be afraid of putting a number that's too high, because if you really think you are worth that much, why would you accept a job that is looking to pay you less?

Since it's a small investment firm, i would go around looking for salary ranges for big investment firms (assuming the same function), and put in a discount of say 20-40%.

Hi guys.

What are the chances for fresh graduates getting corporate advisory/corporate finance jobs at professional services firms like Big 4, Accenture, etc. in Singapore?

Please share how if you did. That'd be great.

Thanks and cheers

Hi guys, am planning to look for a job in SG, was wondering if you guys could share whether should resign here and go there, then look for a job? Or do I look for a job here first. Also, are the odds of getting a job higher if I go to a headhunter?

I am working in the finance line with an investment bank, ie commodities trading with 7 years experience only.

Front office ah? Of course it'll be best if you manage to secure a job before leaving

Not sure if someone can help me. I am considering to apply for jobs in singpore and was wondering, what would be a good base to put as my 'expected salary'. For positions and companies like EY or Deloitte as a Manager in Advisory?

Audit managers are getting around 6k. you might want to add a mark up of 10-20%?
