QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Jan 9 2017, 01:28 AM) Want to ask 1) If my unit current broadband is held by my housemate, is it possible to do a transfer to my name or should I subscribe a new service again? 2) If it means to cancel the existing broadband, will the service provider take back the router as well? 3) What's the best deal for broadband? So far most package comes in $39.90/month and $49.90/month Fibre or broadband ? Both r different thing, worst to worst, just apply a new line and ignore your housemate one. As now new sign up always got promotion, and normally a fibre port can support upto 2 Lines , should not be a problem for u.

Currently we're using Starhub fibre, so far no issue yet but seeing now the price can get 500mbps/1gbps so why not change right?

QUOTE(10071985 @ Jan 9 2017, 07:29 PM) They required proof of residential address. That's one tricky one la You may try CIMB @ orchard road. Passport, cash and Malaysian IC will do fine. Help my wife (who doesn't have any valid work pass or local address) to open an account with Cimb. Caveat: there's only 2 branches...and probably 4 ATMs in SG.
