The M1 sim only plan you mentioned - 100 min, 5GB data - is this prepaid or postpaid?
- the 100min is only for local calls within SGP?
- if I want unlimited calls to Msia, which telco has it?
*
You can take Singtel sim only. Add on to 800mins. Unless you also make a lot of calls within SG, then you can add on to unlimited calls.

Add on IDD plan.

Then... You can make 700mins call to M'sia. Capped at 700mins per month.

But I never try it la. You better check with singtel again before you do so.

the person asking is coming for his first employment so he will need to fill in the white card when he comes in until he receives the physical card for his EP.

Just wanted to check out myself what my HR says is true or not.. He said 13th month salary is compulsory in Singapore required by the Singapore law.. Even our Singapore company had been making loss for few years we are still paying the staff 13th month salary, but over here in Malaysia our staff get nuts.. Makes me imbalance..
No there are no SG laws mandating AWS / 13th month salary.

I don't see what you are so upset about. Companies will budget a certain annual figure to pay staff. Does it really matter that much whether that figure is divided into 12 months without AWS, or divided into 13 and paid with AWS? 🤔

well ... before you go blast your singapore HR, they may not be bound by MOM laws, but they may very well be bound by the contracts they signed with each employee. If the employee contracts / letter of offer states an unconditional 13th month AWS to be paid, the company can't tomorrow decide not to pay it any more.

Yup I was the one who posted here to ask for advise on how to handle my clown boss who binds people down for 3 years after getting PR while underpaying the shit outta you where you are unable to find jobs.

Funny shit is how the government handle all these passes. Stating the goddann minimum requirement pay for an S pass or E pass but freaking employer clowns can yet still apply and get those shitty passes even though the minimum wage for the pass is not satisfied at all. Long way to the minimum requirement. Well done

Why the angst? You can find other job?
You know the need for the government to put the minimum salary for the benefits of its citizens right?

Thought it was good. Company looks good on the surface. Met the boss during the interview and seemed nice. All that turned to shit and goes down the drain. Surviving on a 50 to 100 dollars increment per year on a 2k plus salary that is going nowhere for a 28 yr old

My 2 cents is that if the government want to impose these requirement for foreign talents then by all means go ahead. By being lenient and if you are able to not follow the requirements and still able to get the passes. Local effing bosses are able to take advantage of this shits and treat us like hard labour.

Nasty

Furthermore the MOM or labour laws should impose some shit to prevent bosses to take advantage of foreign workers by including stupid clauses in the contract.

But it's alright anyway since my boss issues the passes to foreign workers right
