If you are not a permanent staff, your job is not highly secured.  I think that is what he meant.

My co also experienced hiring and increment freeze. So bad times are ahead
*
Looks like you guys have not experienced what I've seen in my company smile.gif
Retrenchment can be because of HC movement to cheaper countries, which means senior or junior also kena

I have tasted a few. I like Sheraton Towers, Shangri-la and Ritz Carlton.

My colleagues just told me that Intercontinental Hotel is cheap at $45 per box of single yolk after discount at Raffles Exchange. Not sure bout the taste.  Sheraton Towers is $52 after 20% discount.

The lotus paste of the mooncakes in sg is much smoother than mys ones so it tastes better.  Nowadays i hardly eat mys mooncakes.

I went to jb yesterday, there are some booths at City Square. Overseas, kam lun tai, seasons etc

The carlton hotel cantonese restaurant's nuts one is quite good. Normally I hate those.
Might drop by taka later today to get a box of the peninsular custard ones later today. Supposed to be good.

What happened to AWS?
*
Company just change the policy and remove AWS. My company also remove AWS during 2015... but lucky they divide it into 12 months and increment to our month salary.

For example (My company):

monthly salary is 3000, after AWS removed, 3000/12 = 250 will added to your monthly salary, become 3250..

Bad for new joining staff who doesn't entitled to AWS.
