u guys plan to pick up what US stocks later?

big tech? apple, msft, amazon, google?

chips? tsmc, amd, nvidia?

bogleheads? VTI n chill ?

or wait n see

for retirement portfolio, is it better to accumulate SPY over VTI, VOO, etc

rationale is although SPY expense is higher at 0.09%, but once we accumulate 100 shares, we can sell covered call to earn some premiums

thought of qqq too, but worry the peak and trough cycle is too long, spy option liquidity seems ok right

do u guys buy some short-term bond etf using the idle money thats sitting to be deployed to buy stocks

if yes, which etf u all buy?

the dividends from etf is also subjected to 30% tax right?

the yield seems very attractive now, if 5.3% gross yield, minus 30% tax still got around 3.7%
