Good time to top up VOO and QQQM for contrarian investors?

tongue.gif

------------------------

I checked my IRR, so far VOO +0.27%, QQQM -6.55% p.a.

Hermes a whopping +54.14% p.a., TSMC +14.48% p.a. laugh.gif Seems like no crash...

Novo Nordisk the bad boy -7.41% p.a., gonna let go of this one...

Why VOO over CSPX/VUAA/SPYL? I thought VOO less efficiently given withholding tax.

And why buy QQQM if already holding VOO? don't the overlap?

Otherwise, I am hoping for at least a 20% - 40% correction. The time to deploy dry powder is approaching.

Fire sale coming. Prepare war chest.

Refinance your house, sell all your physical jewels and withdraw EPF acc 3. Get ready to deploy funds.

This is one in a lifetime opportunity long time coming since covid.

Time to snipe some S&P, maybe one of the MAG7

Only ragret is not enough funds. Barely SGD 3k after convert war chest...

Haiz, I was hoping for more laosai. barely any time to accumulate. only one day and people panicking and suicide hotline out and trump give in to the pressure.

next time really cannot hesitate. need to fast snipe.

Finger crossed. I'm 6 figures in UNH. Either make or break. I'll give it until end of 2026.

Wow 6 figure is no joke. Life changing money.

I hope you’re a bit relieved now? Doesn’t take long, does it?
Congratulations my friend. I hope you bought the dip like I did smile.gif

Damn, I waited on sidelines too long. Feeling FOMO now. Is it still worth it?

Thing is that it takes me so long to save up RM10k that I tend to hesitate committing.

Anyone know what to look for in financial statements for long term stocks? I just simply look on Yahoo finance see:

1. If current asset > current liabilities
2. If got net profit
3. If cash flow is positive
4. Got pay some dividends

I was looking at things like JNJ, PG, KO, T, CVX, MA, MCD. All seems to be doing very well, more assets than liabilities, always profit 100s of m+, cash flow also 10 to 100s of m+ until I also don't what I'm looking at.

Anyone can point me in the right direction?

No need legend. You just need to buy and hodl the right companies.
Companies like Brookfield, Arthur J Gallagher are non tech and if you just buy and hodl easily few x.

BN or BAM? Already up a lot in 1 year. Still worth it to buy now? Or wait for pullback?

I think it doesn't really matter.... the end story is still Powell can only hold the fort until May 2026, and thereafter will just be full liquidity pump as instructed/demanded by Trump.
Fair to trump... he wanted dollar to weaken... interest rate to be zero and inflation be damned.

Means time to all in before turn on the money printers?
