QUOTE(Barricade @ Sep 17 2025, 04:02 PM) To me, TSLA is nothing but a snake oil company with a narcissistic CEO. The rampant increase of BAIDU and BABA in my portfolio adds to my shorting power. If he really buy more, I short more. Still holding the position? There's a slim window to escape last night. Rate cut might fuel the stock higher. Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting Elon or Tesla, just curious what a short seller will do. hondaracer liked this post

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Sep 22 2025, 10:59 PM) Closed my tesla shorts. Open long aapl instead. Wise. No point against the force. Tesla is still a profitable company with ton of cash at the end. There are multiple catalysts (e.g. new car model lineups, AI, FSD, Robotaxi, Optimus, renewable energy etc). Even if there is pullback, it will be short-life before any of those hypes pumps the stock back up again. That's my analysis, not saying that I support Elon or the company. Its been one week since elon buys news and if the momentum dont turn no point fighting against the current. |

QUOTE(Barricade @ Sep 22 2025, 11:53 PM) Good for you. As Elon and TSLA hater, I’m not selling, will increase my short position if breach 500. YTD I’m up almost 70% now due to BAIDU and UNH so I’m comfortable to take some risk. You can hate him but you don't have to put your money against him. That is illogical to me risking your savings against something that is really nothing significant to your live. My advice. Best wishes as Tesla is looking at $500 towards the end of the year. |

QUOTE(Barricade @ Sep 25 2025, 07:37 AM) Don’t be naive thinking my short is because of my feeling towards TSLA. I’m shorting because I think this company is overpriced. Did you buy if you’re so confident that Tesla is going to reach $500 towards the end of the year? Full disclosure, I own Tesla stock but I don't care if the stock price is now down to $300 because my cost price is really really low at $20ish, i.e. more than 10x return. $500 prediction is from the wall street not mine. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Sep 25 2025, 10:16 AM) Investor have to look beyond just the car for next Elon challenge 1T pay package. For just the car, it's impossible to achieve. Yes, something is brewing. Just see the calls volume between $500-$550. Bull!So something is cooking behid Tesla. You can see Tesla no more puting the car as an ads. Buy buy buy. ![]() |

QUOTE(Barricade @ Sep 25 2025, 09:24 AM) Let’s just agree that you do your thing and I do mine. Sounds like you’re obsessed with my short and I’m living in your head rent free. I never care less about other’s trade. If I listen to the noise of strangers, public or “Wall Street” I will still be holding dearly to NVDA and not trading it with BABA/BIDU - which double my investment this year itself. How you know I didn't make more than the 100% in BABA when I move my capital else where? I have more than 10 stocks that have 100% and above.Even if I end up losing money on shorting TSLA, I’m ok with that because it’s purely my trading decision and it’s part of my calculated risk - rather than listening to “Wall Street” or forumers. Example of irrelevant public noise: BABA is up more than 100% YTD. ![]() |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Sep 25 2025, 06:40 PM) I have so many make 2-3x. The trick is BTFD, let your winners run. Do not be tempted to take profit. My first stock was Apple before Steve Jobs passed away and I still keep the apple stocks now. That's how long I have been investing. I accumulate stocks of great companies and hold long term. Ignore the market noise as long as the fundamentals of the companies are still good. Basically, don't cut the flowers and keep the weeds. Trimming the weeds will be fine. |

QUOTE(buffa @ Oct 2 2025, 10:54 AM) That will be a good news. On top of that the sales number for Q3 should benefit from the demand from the tax credit expiration, and Model Y L heated sales in China. Also, lower interest rate is another tail wind for the sales. Hopeful to see $500. noien liked this post

VIX was at around 22 on Friday when the market closed. It is such a contrast compared to the April Liberation Day when it hit over 50 with the tariff hike by Trump. Do you think VIX will spike further with this new tariff hike? Maybe a couple more points but I don't think it is that bearish as compared to the last one. However it's definitely a time to buy the dips. ![]() Hastebreak liked this post

QUOTE(swiss228 @ Oct 13 2025, 02:35 PM) China can maximize pain on ordinary Americans by tanking their hot stock market. All they have to do is provoke Trump, and Trump will self inflict more pain. When the stock market crash, Americans will lose trillions, much more than what their government can collect in tariff duties. And, Americans won't blame China: they blame their own president for starting the trade war! Looks like Trump is on the losing end. The only way is for him to play nice... like what he always did - TACO! swiss228 liked this post

Powell hints on the endgame of the QT policy. Also he believes that there will be 2 more rate cuts. Looks like market will be flooded with amber of liquidity and looking for assets to invest in. Stock market will likely to go higher in this case. Maybe we will see S&P to hit 7000 end of the year. noien liked this post

A lot of optimism in the market now. Last Friday was the first 3% drawdown in 5 months what did stock market participants do? From BofA Research: Over the last 15 years, last week was... - the 5th largest week for single-stock inflows - the largest weekly inflow for stocks when the market was down 1% or more people saw a 3% drawdown and what did they do? bought. the. dip. swiss228 liked this post
