I don't think we will see market drop more than 5% like 2022 unless the fed do the unexpected, increase rate.
Nowadays when market drop 2-3% it just gets bought up, a lot of buyers are waiting.

Trump. The answer is Trump. He seems to think Tariff is some magic cure to fix the economy. This is what happens when you get a loser fail son, who has failed all of his businesses, who had to have his daddy’s money to bail him out, run a country. Imagine if there were no tariffs, all the good news we got this past month would have at least put us in an upward direction with short corrections. It’s all 1 man causing all of this. It’s crazy how billions of people are getting fucked by the orange monkey. I guess maga likes it though.

Qqq would have hit limit down if the market were to Open after Trump speak. The market would have close 30 minutes after open. This post has been edited by annoymous1234: Apr 3 2025, 01:23 PM mois liked this post

We are way oversold. A technical rebound, aka dead cat bounce this week may happen, before we see one huge final drop when EU announce their tariff. Hansel liked this post

Technically the rebound is well expected - Trump seems to be responding to S&P 5,100 as the floor, as himself and Bessent both tried to prop up the market yesterday. The reality is far from the optimistic messages they sent yesterday. If the US can't get a deal done quickly with Japan, imagine how long it will take with China. With tariffs remaining an uncertainty for so long, the economy will see increasing pressure - growth slower, inflation building up, consumers reluctant to spend, corporates less willing to invest, etc. My biggest worry is still the government debt. As the economy slows, deficits will likely go up. Higher deficits coupled with a weaker dollar will make refinancing much more difficult. A few positive headlines might drive up the market, but none of the underlying forces have been changed. noien liked this post

QUOTE(TOS2 @ May 30 2025, 09:37 AM) Section 899 is all over the news. Your dividends from US stocks will be taxed a further 5% per year for the next 4 years. And for the first time, treasuries earnings will be taxed.
