Thanks guy for explain. But still have hard time to understand.
I do have hold long. And try some in short holding. (2-3weeks hold). But the short hold feel like doesn't earn much. So I thinking like: I buy morning and sell 2h later and buy again later and sell away before close. Or buy today and sell tomorrow. Is that consider day trader ? |

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Jun 27 2020, 12:24 AM) Historically, about 2/3 of day traders lost money, while 1/3 are profitable. Day traders are particularly successful on uptrend. QUOTE(goldrush @ Jun 27 2020, 12:54 AM) homework is very important... dont anyhow buy for day trade... i spend at least 7 hours per day 7 days a week to study ctrs... my flexi working hours allow me to do so.. Wow, Thousand rm profit per day is a lot for me for now.25% of my plays are day trade as i set thousand RM profit per day.. so far so good. Just want to try it from small amount and see how well it goes. For the experience. At the moment, spend few hr. Set it to sell before sleep. Still learn all this jargon term. |

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Jul 2 2020, 02:27 AM) Shares of Tesla, which have more than doubled since the start of the year, climbed as much as 3.5% in intraday trading Wednesday, giving it a market capitalization of $207.2 billion, surpassing Toyota’s $201.9 billion. Speculative lor. Cult effect.Tesla produced 103,000 vehicles in the first quarter, or about 4% of the almost 2.4 million made by Toyota, which built its brand on affordability and reliability backed by innovations in large-scale manufacturing. https://www.bloomberg.com/asia #ddtg rule Guess you know the figure doesn't match the stock price. I think even the 2nd Q is negative for them, it still climb. |

QUOTE(yok70 @ Jul 8 2020, 02:44 AM) ya, tesla rally has been crazy. So for those who own the stock, maybe it's best to set a sell target on the downside and not the upside, since only god knows where the peak would be. Congrats on those who owns it currently, i missed the train while set myself a buy target below 450 but failed to practiced it because of fear. Go in at 4xx but leverage till 7xx gradually. Stop pump in after over 800. It's scary. |

QUOTE(bellion @ Jul 9 2020, 09:17 AM) Because it's a tech stock that is highly rated and the founder is the modern day Thomas Edison. Read it will be 2k-4k high.Buy and hold. It will reach a much higher price. But by that time it too high for people to invest in. Wonder will TSLA choose to split the share. |

QUOTE(yok70 @ Jul 13 2020, 10:11 AM) There are a lot of short term winners but tiny few of long term winners. Why? Because most of those short terms winners loss until they can never come back to stock trading and just disappeared. Perhaps, they turn to casino after huge loss in stock market because you can always bring just few hundreds to bet in a casino. Why they don't want continue to trade for short term winner? Enough to earn?I realize that too long term will not earn much. But how long should I hold? |
