For past 1 month=
SHY is up 1+%
BIV is up 2+%
GLD is up 3+%
TLT is up 8%

So ithatabwhy u should have both Treasuries ans precious metals.

even for us, it's cheaper to trade US ETF than Europe ETF, 1 USD vs 1.75 EUR.
For a service provider point of view, WHT or not has nothing to do with them. Commission, however, has. Just a speculation anyway.

Stashaway argument to favor US etf is spread costs are much less in US etfs. The savings on spread out weights the WHT saved on Irish domiciled ETF.

The market is up just on the hope that the Fed will intervene. They are usually right. The Fed usually give in.

Fed cavalry has arrived! 50 bps cut. Fed Fund rate is now 1%. Not much room before it hits zero and negative rates.

See gold prices...

US CME futures is saying a 100% likelihood of another Fed reserve cut before or on 18th March. The only question is by how much, likely another 0.5%.

Why this thread so quet today? SPY just broke through end Feb lows, even with good job numbers. Looking to see where it will end today.

So far so good.. I rather see a small gain even better a lloss rather than crazy 5+% moves up and down in the market. Hope Vix will start to come down.
