Am I looking at this right.. Oil passed $45 barrier. Going to hit $50 as next target?
UWT to shine again.

If compare to car manufacturer (GM, Toyota, Mazda)... it is way overvalue.
If compare to a tech company.. it is more like it. like AMZN, NFLX, etc..

TSLA is definitely not a value stock by any means.
Not making a single dime of profits but more losses every year but
speculation is on its growth.

Too rich for me..to buy and hold
But, can trade.. if you're on the correct track.

It's the same fundamentals parameters that you've stated - loss making, still negative PE..
nothing here yet but huge operating expenses but seems like majority of investors are betting
on its technology that it may have a bigger market share than other EV cars in future. Some may feel
TSLA maybe like the AAPL (cars instead of mobile phones) but I don't think so.

There are others who are catching up now..Nissan, Toyota, GM (already had the consumer price version of Volt years ago),
Mazda...  granted, none of them are as cool as TSLA. So, imo, TSLA buyer could be the hippie type for now as long it continue to improve on its technology. Another thing is its CEO also a brand name that investors are willing to pay up because of him (just like late S.Jobs)

As for the rest of the world market, China could be a good potential there for TSLA as long they can fight off the copycats and other local sharks (usually supported by the so called China version of GLCs).

At current price.. I'm staying away (not for BUY and HOLD for investment - but ok to just trade 'em - see their options price, good premiums). I think fair price for TSLA should be in mid 100s.  Again, just my assessment. Others may have diff views. 

Understand many funds bought tsla because they were convinced by Elon musk salesmanship and made $ millions along the way.

Tsla price correction will comes when results is below expectations. To keep price high and attract more buying, expect Elon musk to cook up more and bigger ideas.

Elon Musk is also celebrity (appeared on TV shows like Big Bang Theory).. so his name somehow adds a few billions to the market cap of TSLA.
Investors simply invest because of him too.. not necessarily they care about the fundamentals.

But, general Market dipping.. could be good opportunity to buy dips.
