reading all the worst case scenarios in finance subreddits related to the US bond issue kinda shook me up a bit
honestly have no idea what would be a wiser move next for us all. sell off all US etf/stocks in the portfolio now or wait & see what FED will do in May |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jul 8 2025, 03:51 AM) Yup, tariff man on the attack again after Independence Day. Malaysia getting hit with 25%.. Or... can we bet on TACO trade instead? QUOTE(greyPJ @ Jul 8 2025, 09:21 AM) orange man still keep telling other countries about 'trade deficits', 'open up trades' & 'manufacture/invest in USA instead' im not been following financial news but so far I don't think there's any companies actually confirm will build their factories in USA. which is understandable, who in the right mind want to risk committing billions of dollars to set up shop in US of A when you have a president flip-flopping the economic policy every day. they rather suck it up, wait another 4 yrs for orange man to leave Hansel and danmooncake liked this post

it's honestly baffling how the SPY prices kept rising, not tanking after all the many many trump tariff shenanigans. tampering with feds and the likes. like how dahek they kept getting away with all these & market sentiments are still strong.
and the recent suspension of low value items postage/mailing from many other countries as well. |
