QUOTE(yok70 @ Sep 10 2016, 02:20 AM) Well, if true, then better late than never, August historicallysuppose to be bad month for stocks but instead we got all time high. I think this pull back is probably nothing again in a week or so. we'll see buyers step back in if interest rate fear subsided once again. The market is so used to "low" rate drug now, if taken off this medicine, it will implode. |

Some ways to go but I think the market should recover half of what it lost last Friday. Then, shall wait and see. Come bulls, take the bargain and buy buy buy. |

For short term, the levels between $45 and $48 is an interesting range to play.

Now... if SP500 and Dow can't it back to that 50ma line, maybe it will go down again
for another interest rate scare... Wish to see something like this for a nice 5-10% correction. Down, Up, ,Down (deeper)...up..Down (even deeper). |

QUOTE(yok70 @ Sep 13 2016, 03:34 AM) Almost hit that spot 3 times... but it has to roll back down to gather bulls momentum.I think sooner or later, it will do it. There's just too much money on the sidelines here. I was hoping for at least it can pull back down to 2010.xx level (last break out level) but almost there too. QUOTE(yok70 @ Sep 13 2016, 05:32 AM) That's ok.. just buy increments at every little dip and keep accumulating. If you have enough shares later, can sell covered calls to continue to lower your cost average. Saw this on twitter feed after the market closed.. so funny. https://www.instagram.com/p/BKRcQjoBY-9/ This post has been edited by danmooncake: Sep 13 2016, 09:17 AM |

Opportunity to enter long side again for XLE. Just a bit more closer to $68.
Btw, who's playing UWTI/DWTI here? ... how's things going there? This post has been edited by danmooncake: Sep 13 2016, 11:25 PM |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 19 2016, 09:21 PM) was thinking to go uwti. Looks like UWTI is forming a short term base there... at 18.xx level.but... just before nymex opens, already gave up 1%. looks like touch n go, can swing either side tonight. tough game ahead. I think it should be ok.. it has filled that last gap down from last week at open, it is going to hit that resistance at 20.25 and if breaks thru, more bullish momentum will follow. Need crude to go back to 45.xx or higher. |

Hot dang.. I was away for weekend and 4 trading days later with no internet access.. walau-eh,
Oil still hovering same level, didn't fall into the abyss yet. Got assigned a bunch of shares during the weekend when XLE drops below 67.50. Lucky me (thank you EIA and Yellen for keeping same interest rate), still higher than last week price... must sell those calls now. This post has been edited by danmooncake: Sep 23 2016, 10:27 AM |

So far, we're still in this trading range for oil: $43...$48.
But, this pennant price formation is getting tighter and tighter. |
