I think it's going to be bad when they eventually opens and report later. The ADP report on Wed is a tell-tale sign that US jobs market is going to contract. Powell has no choice but to lower rate again.. maybe hit hard at 50bps and be done for this year.
Market will go higher because of money printing and inflation will sky-rocket again by early next year.

What! Nvidia invest in OpenAI which might now invest 10% in AMD? And Jensen is Lisa uncle., really one big family.

“ Nvidia dominates the market for AI compute. Throwing a bone to AMD makes complete sense and was expected.
Management of hyperscalers cannot exclusively rely on Nvidia. This would be bad management.

Hence, ensuring another viable non-Chinese player is around is vitally important to them.

To me this was always the base case. If I was Satya (Microsoft), Sundar (Alphabet), Sam (OpenAI), or Andy (Amazon) I would absolutely try to have at least one alternative supplier for the most important hardware my business needs in large quantities. “

"An ASIC for AI is a custom-designed chip for a specific Artificial Intelligence task, offering high performance and power efficiency for that single purpose, unlike general-purpose chips like GPUs."

If this chips is compactible, why not.

The AI pie is too big. You can't swallow the whole pie.

And OpenAI is believed to have inked a $10 billion chip design deal with Broadcom to train its AI models, a move that could potentially reduce its reliance on partners like Nvidia and AMD.
