just a boring friday question...is US going to open 1/2 day for trading or biz as usual?

AFAIK, it is business as usual but many traders will go home early leaving the computers on to auto-trade.
It's going to be low volume. Next week, 4 days week. Same as New Year week.

But, don't be surprise.. even algos auto-trades can take this to that next level. We're very close.

definitely upward bias.

any dip now is just profit taking.

saudi's been repeating the message - "price will rise, the cuts are working".

think it will stay firm until some bigger news come out.

e.g. world stocks down by 5% due to cuts.

or us stocks rise 5 mil a week for 3 weeks in a row.

Sentiments and Housing market are good!

dow failed to cross 20k for xmas.

hope it will get to 20k for the new year!

oil and tech should be able to push up another 70 pts or so by 30 dec.

Dow at 20K seems like a certainty.

I quite agree with the assessment.

60 will be the cap. Ample supply crouched n hidden, ready to pounce.

So, i generally will long until close to 60.

When it becomes clearer, will reverse gear n short then.

is crude hitting 60? seemed a fairy tale in mid year but now it seems like an easy possibility. after 60 then how, where it goes? << million dollar question it is !!!

it will get there.

for now, it's 55 first!
