how far are you in the game?

i just plat mine yesterday without following the 'proposed' way.

1. i really loved all the spidey gadgets thus i spent my tokens to max out all my gadgets upgrade early in the game.

2. i finished story mode + side missions with 2-3 suits not purchased yet,
which require base tokens + challenge tokens. i have tons of backpack + science tokens.

3. i realized that i have some taskmaster challenges with only 1x token obtained (the lowest - Amazing).

4. searched around the map to see what challenges that i haven't gotten at least minimum Spectacular achievement.

by the time i cleared all challenges, i noticed that:
a) i can get gold/Ultimate level for Combat (all) & Stealth (maybe 2/3).
b) i can only score Spectacular for Drone & Bomb challenges.

thus, when i plat the game - i did not have to score Gold/Ultimate on all the challenges.

i've to re-try 2-3 times some of the challenges to max out my points, though.
still a noob, so i just tried and gitgud.

disclaimer: of course, i still have 2-3 suit powers not available yet (since i don't have 100% Ultimate completion and missing challenge tokens).

i thought that the game saved some data automatically?



browsing through the game file shows ~20+ file saves,
and i only tried saving 1-time Manual, thus there's only 1 [Manual] save file.

not sure if it saves each story episode or something, though - haven't tried re-loading any of the save files.

i've always done this to spawn crimes:

swing around while scanning (press R3) once in a while.

which update are you in, 1.08 now i guess?

Purchased the game or purchased the DLC?
Which variant of the game do you have currently,
is it the disc standard version?

There're 2 digital versions..

the standard one..



and the digital deluxe which comes with The Heist DLC (also 2 other chapters, if i'm not mistaken)..



if you bought the 1st one - sorry bro, you've got to purchase the DLC separately.

if you bought the 2nd one - you can just dload it from PS Store and access it in-game.

remember that you can customize your suit powers to any situation
that you are in at the moment.

e.g. brawl : web blossom + faster healing + ....

or

stealth : <i forgot what the suit power was> + silent step + highlight enemies longer..

i've just finished all 3 DLC storyline, currently trying to get the trophies related to screwball challenges.

oh, btw - i love to use the new black suit (from Spiderman: Far From Home) especially during stealth missions.
