The best thing to do for those stay in the apartment/condo is to use the 50ghz band wifi.

for those who cant due to outdated equipment ( like me ), what i do is scan around the area and look for what channel the other wifi access point are. priority will be channel 1,6, 11 as these channel will have less overlapping issues.

i scanned and found out that my neighbours mostly use 6 and 11 channel. therefore i decided to use channel 1 and voila, signal strength jumped out to 99-100% from 80-85% while using AUTO.

I'm having the same problem as well

I thought it was something wrong with my router as I just updated to the latest firmware. Went through the hassle of downgrading and reconfigured everything back. End up with the same problem.

On the side note, anyone knows how to change PPOE password? Mine is too weird 😂

Actually first thing first, you could call TM to reset your port. If it is still happening, please ask them to send a technician to check your connection.

You can complain if the speed is 80% and below the promised speed. Go ahead and lodge a report. smile.gif

You can call 100 to ask TM to reset your port 1st, if the problem still exist then you call ask TM to send a technician to your house to check.

Yup they resetted my port several times and asked me to reboot everything several times. Yet still the same. Depending on the time of the day, max i can get usually less than 15-16Mbps down.

So it was not your router problem as proclaimed by someone earlier?
*
nope as what i suspected earlier as the speed actually can reach 30Mbps but it wasnt stable, it problems was on TM side. they did everything on their side and thats it.
