QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2016, 11:55 PM) UniFi and HyppTV come as package, you cannot leave out HyppTV. I have never installed too but still forced to pay RM 30 every month. Well that just sucks. Imagine paying for something we never use. I dunno about you but my apartment's wiring configuration cannot cater to both internet & cable tv in the same position. I can change the present TV position but that would require me to change other stuffs too.

I don't even have a TV but I do have a 24" full HD monitor which I have been using since 5 years ago but I'm still not using it for HyppTV.

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Sep 14 2016, 09:36 AM) There's a thing called power line adapter. for instant: http://www.tp-link.com.my/products/list-18.htmlI know but cannot. Power line adapter depends on direct plug connection & not extension plug which I use for the modem side. And besides, TM advises using the LAN4 port as the dedicated hyppptv connection. I'm welcome to suggestion on how configuration can be done using power line adapter or any other method. One side with wall telephone jack connection to modem using extended plug to power the modem/router. The opposite side with TV, direct wall plug & astro connection.

Plug the powerline adaptor to your wall socket mains, then the extension plug to the powerline pass through.

Some jaguh kampung here said 'dream on' when I put this up n said it will create price war. http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...-to-malaysians/While others concur: http://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...oadband-prices/Whatever it is, prices should keep going down n speed going up, and we as the users would benefit. QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Sep 15 2016, 09:04 AM) MAY only wor...last time say reduce bo action..now cakap lagi.. see TM action when they gonna reduce lo Hopefully this will kick their butts, but some have slowly battle, free upgrade from VIP5 to VIP10, free video etc. and like what the article said: “The entrance of such disruptive players will also be positive for wider broadband uptake as dominant player TM could be compelled to reduce prices should a rival build enough momentum to threaten its market position,” the research house said in a recent report.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 10 2016, 10:50 AM) They may upgrade you to 10Mbps for free. If you have been a good paymaster, the chances to be upgraded are pretty high. Thanks fruitie , so I just call them up to request?
