Hi LYN, I got issue which need supporting advise.
Just rent newly apartment here in kota kemuning and subscribe for unifi on end of july.
upon installation, unifi guy tested no signal and said internal wiring(fiber) is broken.
they said ask management and get developer to come fix.

update 1:
a week later management technician came and observe fiber port small box without any test equipment saying he will ask contractor come fix.

update 2:
nothing happened, chased the management again and they said contractor already came and test inside connection room everything good.

it has been 3 weeks+ and still counting been chasing them everyday.
should i just call TM to come?

TM are only responsible for the cable up until your apartment ground floor. Other than that are management's responsibility.

noted.

the problem might be between FWS to FTP in floor riser room or adapter broken at FWS

option left:
-keep chasing management
-hire 3rd party contractor.

Practical Option: Get management to do it
Hiring 3rd party contractor could easily cost more than a thousand. If your management refused to take up the responsibility, lodge a report to local council.

@djhenry91

Yes, you are correct

@g88

I am curious too, but the similar step will be like this only la

UniFi - Configure Huawei HG655a BTU as a MODEM ROUTER

But I can't find the step to configure on ALCATEL-LUCENT-I240G version.
