I was given an option about this Ruby Pack when I asked to switch from Aneka Pack.

Funny thing is that none of the staff in TMPoint knew about this package which I personally received it from TM ppl themselves via email

Are you guys getting the full channel in Ruby Pack and does your current bill stated Ruby Pack or Ruby Pack 2?

Yesterday, i got my 1st unifi bill's, while i go through my bill, i noticed that TM charges my phone call that i make to my mother's home which is happen to have TM Fixed Line. As far as i am concern, a new unifi subscriber entitled a free 600 minutes voice call. hmm.gif

So, this morning, i called their customer service and clarify this matter with them. Fortunately, the charges will be reimbursed to my next month bill. thumbup.gif

Answer to this question could be very subjective. Some users doubt the quality of RX4400 but so far from reviews in thia forum, I will conclude both model had quite similar quality

hi guys,

I'm planning to get second unifi account under same name on different address.
Question is, will I get the same promo price RM179 which I get for first account to this second account?

Confused right ?!, all TM personnel and agent and contractor tell us different thing. Only this fella in LYN tell the real thing ! notworthy.gif

AFAIK, TM start this waive rental fee thing at 2015.
B4 2015, i think most people have to make the difficult decision that giving up the old number or paying for the rental fee (sb even change the number to tm prepaid for saving money)

Obviously , it is not fair that TM didn't allow non-combo package user to keep their old telephone number in free of charge.
Did you success to keep your old number?
Your experience is valuable , pls don't mind to share... icon_idea.gif

p/s: I just wonder can we upgrade the streamyx(non-combo) to combo, and then immediately upgrade the combo to unifi ? can this work? hmm.gif brows.gif

TM seem to be giving out either RGX4400 and DIR-850L at random.

Unifibiz 20 to 100mb upgrade last month got DIR-850L.
New local coffee shop here opened last month Unifibiz 100 received the RGX4400.
Yesterday uncle's new Adv30 got the RGX4400.

I've been using the wifi at the coffee shop with the RGX4400 quite often. Pretty good router. Very impressed with it so far. No chance yet to test out the DIR-850L.

My Aunty is with DIR-850L. So far, she says the router has no problem. It is a good router.

Got my Unifi 30 yesterday. Not a smooth flow. Disappointed with TM's work practice with multiple unifi installers calling me to book the installation time. Later the installer did not come on time. Those who took time off from work for installation will be really pissed off. Ha.

When they came, it went smoothly. Impressed with their quality of work except a 2 by 3 inches wall cement piece came off on the outside wall as they used the hammering drill to drill the small hole. Should not use the hammering mode though slower with normal drilling.

I got the DL 850L. So far, happy with it. Can feel the faster browsing when turning pages on The Star, faster response when going from one menu to the sub menu in Kodi, watched Game of Thrones (season 2) 1080p without buffering (yes, I am a few years behind on this show), wife's HP browsing is faster now using the higher dual wifi speed on 850L.

Some questions:

AA
on the BTU, port 1 goes to 850L, 3 unused ports. OK to use these 3 LAN ports? One will say just plug it in and see. But I prefer to check first. Or are they utilised by the router?

BB
2 phone ports. Without any phone cable plugged it, tel 1 light is on. Does that mean only tel 1 is configured and can be used? Just plug in tel 2 and see! Ha.

CC
For the free iflix & viu for new Unifi ac, these do not sit inside HypTV right? Asked the installer, he does not know.

DD
Saw on the Service Acceptance Form today that they stated Business Registration. Should be for home use only. If no complication later (upgrade etc), I will just leave it. Signed that without reading the whole 3 pages. Tip for future friends who will be installing Unifi, read the 3 pages forms BEFORE they ask you to sign! Ha.

Cheerio.

P/S Learnt from the installer that the F Optic cable is 2 cores, ie 2 optic lines in 1 cable. Only 1 core is used. Maybe the 2nd core is used if they have problem with the first one or for future parallel usage? Like the multi CPU trend now?
