100 won't know about their wifi router model n stock.

Seem Archer C5 have this design 'weakness'

Am still awaiting them to bne at on-site support but likely the technical dunno how to troubleshoot instead swap another unit..I mentioned I FIRM want a C5 to double confirm izzi hardware failure or its 'like that'

Symptoms very look like this http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?82...ect-to-internet

100 asked fme try off 5ghz, must well use back old single channel router lol

Yes, my house is like that. Both me and housemate are using differently. smile.gif
So long, it still has port for you, then you can have it.

Thanks for the information.
So both BTUs do not need to linkup each other right?
I assume the cable is directly come from UniFi box outside and connect to each BTU.
Does this setup requires any extra cost?

Yes, no link up.
Yes, from outside to our BTU. I'm not sure how much my housemate paid as her room is closer to outside but I did pay extra for wiring because my room is slightly further in. I don't know if I got slaughtered or anything, I paid around RM 200 if I'm not mistaken.

We are staying in landed property by the way.

Of course big difference. Erm, actually most of us are pretty happy with UniFi. Sometimes have problem with iOS apps updates. Other than that, I really don't have much issue with it. Everything is smooth and stable.

100 have a list of current router model, he named all of them.

not dunno, just dun want waste time (for intermittent issue), and swapping is good for user ma, why not?

issue might have been fixed with newer firmware released.

oh wait, you are the Archer C5 owner....

congrats (how you got eh???

so is there any issue?

and pls reply to my below thread (question about the the hardware revision) XDD

Update : Installer just came in empty hand and laptop to use (try/test) the Archer C5, told them the issue is like wifi turned ON and connected to modem but it's just not loading eany content from the net...

What the thell they just use their phones to connect to me access point.....then call to their support (I believe 2nd tier) where will come again to check the wifi signal or router thoroughly....

why some people got C5. i got DLINK 850L. any differences between those two?
i guess C5 wifi coverage works better than 850L because of external antenna.......

i wish got a C5

thanks for your replies.

For my current streamyx, i have no problem in mobile connection. just on my laptop. it was hella slow.

I know 5 mbps to 30 mbps is a massive difference. But does it worth, in performance? (reliability, system down etc)
